DarkLiminality — Creature of Bark and Roots

Description 6in x 9in watercolour

This creature appeared to me during shamanic drumming a few years ago. As we began to drum I went down into the earth and saw masked figures twisting through the root systems of nearby trees. One of them came forward and looked at me - this is what I have painted.

This is one of the most interesting pieces I have personally seen on here. I don't know exactly why I find this so captivating, but it definitely grabbed my attention. Very nice job with the transfer of your experience, and your technique is most definately not lacking. Great job.
