this is it, finally. im pretty much done. here will be some final touch ups to the background, especially on the top of his head, and some more toning done to the arms and chest. wow that took a long time. when i finish this ill just re-input the image, and not resubmit it.heres hoping for a lot of favs!!!

man this is one thing i dont see much of these days....pencil shading. i agree with cheramyn. the intensity of the drawing definately shows, especially in the eyes. the pose makes all the more intense, especially with the rigid texture of the armor and blades. very nice.

Wow... I adore the detail of this drawing. It looks very detail, and I love the shape of the body, with some thorns and sharp edges. Its lines also look realistic

This is really awsome! I like it alot, yet there is room for much improvement. You have too many sharp outlines, that could be softened, or completely taken out, and only shown with varying values of darkness. Not that you did a bad job with the values. I just would like to see those improvements, cause you have an amazing amount of talent! ^^ I am faving this by the way!

oh, lol that was just graphite shading... i liked it too, but in preparation for the coloring part of it i needed to greyscale the whole thing out. dont worry, its gonna be crazy soon...

It's a very nice piece, but I don't seem to feel the overall appeal of it too much, I think it's because the texture and color of the entire thing still makes it look like a sketch rather than a done deal. that might have been your intention in the first place, but I feel that some more contrast and shading might do it some good
