You know this looks very similar to the new Plasma Gun used by the new Primaris Astartes. And this was done WAY before they came along.

Well, I feel the assassination of leaders part seems a bit overly specific for a weapon to be mass produced, but yeah, a sniping role that includes taking down vehicles does make sense.

Is this meant to be something for a conversion? The fuel can would be from a flamer, stock from a lasgun, grip from a bolter, the plasma gun coils probably on the body of a lasgun...and not sure about the rest, but you could get very close to this drawing using bitz.

I was wondering is this supposed to be Tau tech inspired? I mean their plasma cannons are supposed to be low yielding but less prone to blowing up.

Nice update. If GW ever decides to modernize (hah, like that's ever going to happen when people are buying their stuff by the ton) I'd like to see this or something like this replace the old plasma rifle.

That is a really cool design concept although I still love the curves and flow of the current GW version Imperial plasma weapons this is a really interesting shape. I can see miniature conversions in my head to emulate this beast. May have to do this up on a Marine and credit your concept for fun.
