Alice couldn't believe how selfish her son was being right now. Sure, she knew that Skylar lets the authority of being royalty go to his head, but this was going a bit far. She gritted her teeth, and clenched her fists, which were beginning to exude a horribly powerful dark power, "Skylar..."

"Mother, please, you can't convince me otherwise that..." Skylar cut himself off as he saw the infuriated look on his mother's face.

"YOU COMPLETELY SELFISH, SPOILED BRAT! WOULD IT KILL YOU TO SHOW JUST A LITTLE COMPASSION TOWARDS OTHERS EVERY NOW AND THEN?!" Alice yelled in a demonic voice.

"B-B-But if we did that, then the humans would think we're being s-s-soft," Skylar whimpered. All of the bravado he had before was now nowhere to be found.

"SHOWING COMPASSION IS NOT A SHOW OF WEAKNESS! AND UNTIL YOU LEARN HOW TO DO SO, I WILL LOOK FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO TAKE OVER AFTER I RETIRE! BUT NOT BEFORE STRIPPING YOU OF ALL YOUR ROYAL POWER!" Alice threatened.
