[EDIT]Swapped out the base sketch for better quality and adjusted the sun glow and increased saturation. Colours might fit slightly messier now, though I did my best to align the layers properly. Being a super subjective thing, let me know if you liked the previous version better.

My sketch for day 24 of EqD's second NATG: really bad secrets!

"..Sweetie Belle, why are you in a hole? Wait, whys there holes everywhere?"

"Uh Rarity, what happened? Where did all these come from?"

"Oh. Well, uhm.. you see, I got rather bored sitting around all night, and, well.."

"You dug up the camp looking for diamonds."

Augh, terrible image quality! I totally messed up this time, not realising that without going over with the 6B it would come out way worse under lamp light. I thought I was verily screwed but it looks like I was able to kind of get it looking recognisable at least.

Really late though, between various distractions it took way longer than I expected.

I'm not sure if the arrangement from drawing the characters before hand came out well in the end, I'll have to look at it again in the morning and see if I like it after sleep, until then I guess you guys will have to be the judges.

For today's theme, the prompt strongly suggested that Rarity had been up to more than just night watch while everyone slept, so I ran with that. This is kind of a silly piece, but at least I managed to get everyone in, and get to do a sunrise to make up for the sunset I didn't get to do. And hey! I got to put Dskyo's tent advice into practice!

Rarity's secret is not very secret.

Yeah I'm doing a bad job at being quick after all, but at least I did get to have fun just sketching without any pressure today. Oddly, when working on these drawings my sketching is way more tense like I'm trying to do things 'right', but it doesn't really turn out any better for the amount of time longer it takes.

I'll keep working on it!
