Description Well, here it is folks.... my rendition on rayquaza. Sorry it took so long since the original poll showed it as an option.

Basically, I wanted to rayquaza to look like it has unimaginable levels of power. When you look at the original artwork by Ken Sugimori, the guy really doesn't do it justice. I mean, red teeth and gums? C'mon...

You'll probably notice a few things different in my version and yes, it was deliberate in order to make this thing look more epic than the other works of it around the internet. I did not intend to copy each and every detail of the original here as that would ruin the motive for making such a piece.

Well, you did it ! He really looks powerful ! He makes me think of the god of an old-time religion.

For the art, I like the way the elements of the body shine. It somewhere looks a bit like plastic, but it's not obvious. It rather like a very hard mysterious material, like metal or something...

This is an excellent piece. It has great lighting and movement, and I enjoyed your slightly different take on the Rayquaza's design. For the most part, you accomplished what you set out to do.

As I was studying the piece, I couldn't help but feel, though, that the facial expression looks a little too mild. I don't know Pokemon very well, but the background and overall design makes me expect something angrier-looking.

I like the energy blast gathering at his mouth, there. I would hate to be on the wrong end of it, because I bet the blast would wipe out a small city.
