Edit~~Added some color to the bottom pose to give this piece a bit more life and for more practice. Might color it more later!~~Pretty big file, would appreciate a full view!!
Had a bad bout of insomnia last night....and ended up watching some episodes of TMNT again. I like the character development they had going with Leatherhead, I think he was one of the more deeper and better characters. Why do they always show the best characters about 3 times in 8 seasons?
Before I knew it, I was sketching out ole Leatherhead. I like this for the most part...except for having the full body one going off the page like that. I decided to give him 3 fingers and a thumb....for some reason the his hands and feet always bothered me. The design works for the turtles I would say, but it just looks weird on Leatherhead to me. Well, enjoy!

Will you be making a pic like this of the snapping turtle Tokka from TMNT 2: Secret of the Ooze? He's a extremely if not, never used character in art or fanfics. I'm already making a sketch of him for that reason.

Sweet. Yeah too bad there isn't. Same goes with fanfiction of the character. I also don't see him as the villain as the movie showed. He was just easily fooled into doing what was told to him. IMO I could see him as the fifth member of the TMNT next to Leatherhead.

Thanks man! I always did love drawing expressions! I agree, he was always so hard on himself. He even welcomed oblivion to himself!! Just a tragic character. But he will be smiling alot more in my comic, I have alot of plans for LH.
