This took me like 3 hours to put together, mostly because of the fact that you have to take it apart to put the new case on.Here is the link to Extreme Mods (where i bought the case) if you are interested in buying something like this. [link]
*WARNING* IF YOU CHANGE YOUR WII CASE IT WILL VOID THE WARRANTY (I have had this for almost 2 years so the warranty is already void).

Yeah, oh well, that was a while ago. Right now, since I am a little older, I feel that it was very unnecessary.

I have this case mod for about two years now. I kept the original case and figured if I ever needed it serviced, I could swap the cases back. It's really great! I did have a slight problem getting the front cover to fit over the EJECT panel button without mashing it in so that it didn't work. My solution was to leave the front right bottom screw on the front panel loose, which gives the button enough wiggle room. Overall very nice, although the Amber standby light will look a little greenish through the blue plastic, making it confusing to tell if it's ON or OFF. Then I'm like, "Duh!" while the console is ON, if it's wired properly, then the circle of LEDs in the drive cover will glow fiercely blue. If it's OFF, all is dark.

Ah I screwed up on the front, I couldnt get the power button working so now i have to lift the front case up and push it down with a pin or something xD.

It took a few hours but I somehow screwed the case on wrong so some things don't shut properly, like the gamecube controller/memory card slots. But it still looks good haha.
