this was originally just a sketch of Mira cause I wanted to draw something girly LOLthat explains the updo and skirt..and the heels, we will just say it's a formal uniform for like award ceremonies and stuff
but it ended up turning into a re do of this pic
I am quite embarrassed to admit this was a iphone background for MONTHS, like I use to just stare at it, UHG it's sooo bad

Love it! So retro-classy, and the concept of Commander Nova is so incredibly intriguing. She’d be awesome at that job! Love the Saturn-ring anklets, and you just keep getting better and better at hair. So what does Warp feel about this dynamic? And their kids?
People think Mira is a tomboy, just because she’s a strong warrior woman who usually wears pants because they’re far superior for combat? Talk about stereotypes; it’s like strong women have to be what society labels “masculine,” because enjoying skirts or makeup makes us “girly girls.” Someone who was running around in a pink princess skirt in Tangea definitely falls on the middle of the spectrum. I wear pants on most days, but that doesn’t mean I don’t like dressing up.

She's absolutely beautiful! And being a redraw of the other picture you have linked, this one is quite an improvement in style and the whole maturely dressed theme really sets a casual and formal feel! You really pulled off the "girly" picture for a normally "tomboyish" kind of gal. Well, at least to me she appears like so. The brighter coloring is lovely as well as the shading.

I don't really think mira would be a "tomboyish" type of character, that's more of jessie, not that there is anything wrong with it of course, not that she's totally "girly" either lol she a good mix. during the shows she has her moments of being " girly" but "kick ass" plus her lips aren't actually pink, her younger clone has blue lips, so I am assuming she wears makeup. I would like to think she's hard core kick ass but knows how to dress herself up when the time comes lol she's not worried about breaking a nail, but she dosesn't mind some finer things..

I suppose the whole ditching the throne for the greater good threw me to see her a BIT tomboyish. But then again I was younger when I thought that. I haven't watched the show for a long while, so my judgement may be wrong.

Nostalgia just hit me like a happy ton of bricks, this is amazing! I love the coloring! I've also loved Mira Nova since I was really little, I still have this movie on VHS. This was a good find!
