the green is very very good. without it the paleness of the skin is lost. this is an absolutely stunning photo. very nice work. too many people want that "britney kitty" goth look. its not goth its a fashion statement. this is true art and captured a real person...absolutely beautiful. my compliments to the model as well for choice of body art. personality really comes alive. there is an explosion hidden within a demur photo. very very nice.

Beautiful picture. I actually LOVE the green background. I think it fits the title and gives a slightly chilling, horror-genre effect to the whole piece. It seems to be screaming retro.. but the overall sexy, dark facade of the model keeps it modern.
The green fits.. at least from my perspective. I believe that any other color in the background would have only served to blend the model in, so to speak, to an expected and cliche'd tone. Purple or blue would have screamed "goth" and red would have given it a vampirical mood. Yellow and orange would have been a definite no-no. The green keeps it interesting and jumpy.

I would definatley change that background. I wouldnt go crazy with it, a flat black or white would be sweet, or maybe a silky red. I would also put a little, but not much color into her skin, she came out kinda flat white there. I would accent the shadows by darkening it. Its awesom for pre-edit though.
