Description
Me trying to get back into it all. From a more resent Deathwatch game I am currently playing in, Sigvul Galock, A Black Shield Of Kill Team Sigvul and yes he is also acting leader as well, then again his team is Half his team is from the Cursed Founding So yeah the Squad of Odd balls. I may do the rest of the team if people want to see more 40k content.
A Few mistakes were made during the making of the product but hey we can all use it as a Learning experence for a rusty sword in urgent need of polshing and sharpening.

I love the Deathwatch models, so much customization potential.
Odd ball team is best team.

I mean if I had a choice for what MK of Power Armour I would have on Sigvul I would go classic MK 4 Maximus. cause it is pretty slick armour.
And I somehow made it work.

If I had a choice of what armor I could wear I would be stuck in the armoury for a millennia.
Good on ya.

Ha ha yeah, what happens when your old armour is kinda ruined beyond repair.
Yeah it is great, Sat here looking after many folks from Babab War one of them being a ex traitor from that war it's good.

Losing your power armour is like losing your arm, it's not the same to get a replacement at least until you put it through it's paces.
The Babab war was quite a bit of Hell, and having one of the secessionists among your ranks is very interesting. Sounds like you're quite the leader.

... If I say yes will you hit me? Actually that reminds me of Forgeworld's Sevrin Loth model, a librarian with Mark IVΒ armour. A very nifty model indeed.
Your men have far more unity then mine then. My guys would've murdered each other the moment we left the Watch post.

I am not a Black Templar thankfully, but yeah he is a really nice model looking at him.
Oh please do tell, I would like to know how spicy it is.

Then I'll admit I do have a fondness for Librarians. Probably explains my love for the Thousand Sons legion.
In short imagine your in a room with three other people who hate each other, both unreasonable and reasonably. Now one of these people is a Mary stu at heart and loves to have the most devastating toys around and isn't satisfied with not being an absolute beat stick. The next is a very special kind of snowflake who wants all the weird shite and NEEDS to drive all the vehicles. Lastly we have my Brother, the real kind not the we share super organs kind, who is a more practical if dull individual and can't let sleeping dogs lie. If someone starts an argument or insults him it will never end. Now the only person who can effectively "lead" this group long enough to complete any meaningful objective is myself as they all have some form of respect for me. Unfortunately someone has to be the DM which leads to no end of discussion of who should lead.
This is not exclusive to Deathwatch, DnD, Starship Troopers, Star wars... Basically if it's a co-operative game where I can't lead them they will find a way to kill each other.

Ha ha try Black Crusade, that is encouraging Player Killing, my first ever RPG game was a BC and it admittedly was pretty sueish, was a Fallen Sister that was "Forced" into Chaos she got into a scrap with a Fallen Twice and died 3 times but she unintentionally became Valkyrie the Bloody from Fantasty funny enough. Also did not know Starship Troopers had an RPG.Β

Knowing how bonkers my group can get encouraging player killing would probably improve their teamwork, and I think we all have a sue phase. Just some of us get out of it sooner then others. Starship Troopers also had a miniature battle game but just like the RPG it was only in production for about 2 years before being cancelled. Pretty good overall, a blend of the animated series and the movie.

I mean the last time I DMed a BC two of the top players of the original party that mind you were mean't to work together, became two opposing factions in the Hive with their own forces and all.
Desire to know more intensifiesΒ

Impressive. Sounds like quite the game session. I unfortunately don't have too many impressive stories, just funny moments.
The RPG takes a blend of movie and animated series featuringΒ power armor, weapons, and vehicles from the series and thematic elements, light infantry armour, and the glorious Morita from the movie. You play as part of a squad and run around fighting both the Arachnids and the Skinnies. Overall fun stuff, play as a boring Marauder pilot or as a squad of badass Light armour lemmings. As for the miniature game I don't think I have ever seen rules for it, just the models of which I have a few.

You will overtime my friend, I mean just today I just ascended to Daemonhood with my Khornate Berserker, now that was a doose with how cinematic it became in the final fight with another Champion of Khorne also at his peak of Ascension.
Huh I will need to look into it.

Well now, that's a pretty nifty accomplishment. Sounds like quite the adventure.
I have two of the physical books, but I found the rest in some massive dropbox(I Think) folder.
