thank you^^, actually, i always wanted to draw a fully illust like comic, but our comic industry here doesn't really encourage that...so if i DO draw that, it will be as a doujin or contest entry i guess

hmm I see, but, if illustration is what you really like and want to do, go for it ^^ I like to do comics and illustrations to but here in portugal is a bit difficult to find a job in that area -.-
In 2013, it will start a national comic contest, but the thing is, the contest isn't in the internet (Yet. It was my art teacher that gave me the information), I only have the theme and the deadline and I don't even know what they really want(number of pages) I really want to enter that contest, but, its a bit hard with so little info -.-

oh wow...that contest is like a local one that just ended. even us comic artists assistants hadn't heard about it due to lack of publicity--and we heard it was complaining of the lack of entries. when we heard that part, i think we all rolled our eyes dutifully
ah, go for it and join
usually they ask for even number of pages. and flow of panels follows either american comics or manga. perhaps you can email to ask them? if the organisers aren't comic oriented people, u need to ask them sometimes. that's what we ended up doing once orz. ah well, no accounting for that factor 8D;

For me, its difficult to work with a deadline, I really hate deadlines, but who doesn't, right? XD
With a deadline, I start to feel pressed, without any ideias for stories, and when I have one, it's really long with many characters. I like long stories and interesting characters but sometimes that not they want -.-
Thanks for your support and, I try to enter in contests for the experience to, I want to know more artists and know their opinions towards my works. I want that, they can notice me and like my works ^^. I have a tablet for 2 years (I think) but it was really now that I started to draw and paint on my computer, I prefer to work with tradicional tools and stuff. And if someone don't like of what I do or try to discourage me, I just ignore them 8P
And about the contest and the pages number, I never though in mail them o.O thanks for the idea XDD I will try, thanks ^^
