the image of an endearing smiling girl, with some missing front teeth smiling with the aid of her left hand's forefinger (probably because she has some more teeth missing inside, so her cheeks hurt) just won't let me go to sleep till i put her down on paper for this contest!the spirit of the nation in face of calamity has won respect from all over the world. smile again Japan!

done with alpha watercolours on cold press 300gm campap watercolour paper, and a huge calligraphy brush, using just yellow, orange, and some reds, because i want to create a warm smile. minor edit via microsoft picture manager to add warm yellow hue to it.
