A rooster dual weilding swords. Makes sense, cuz they have spurs. I have NEVER taken a rooster character more serious in all my life-cept that time I had a nightmare about the cornflakes rooster.
But serious, I laugh at roosters like a goofball, and now I'm almost intimidated by a drawing. Fighting cock, in all seriousness.

This seems very surreal. Almost as if to be an other 'worldly' reincarnation of an Earth Rooster ascending to the Astral Planes to become more than what it was. I like it a lot.

Oh god. The feathers. THE FEATHERS! XD I'd have gone insane. Anyway, the big thing about this piece for me is the detail and shading. I also think you captured the essence of the rooster quite well. >.> <.< I love the shiney swords. *drool* They make me happy and blissful. One last thing, love the folds in the cloth. To die for.

Actually, I found this just recently in Google or some live searchbar at school when I was looking up chicken artwork for inspiration. I thought the style was familiar and then saw it was from you. XD Now I'm finally catching up in my deviation inbox and find this.

It's interesting how the mind creates the illusion of colour even when there isn't any. I saw at first slight hints of red in the comb and other subtle colours in the mane and legs.
Certainly digging up the past, eh? This one's about 9 years old if that date is correct!
Still very groovy.
