This is one of my favorite Halo 2 multiplayer maps. I have always loved the Halo 1 level "the silent Cartographer" which was set on an island. The Forerunner structure also had the familiar look to the ones in Halo 1... Besides Iβm a big fan of water.I was thinking of how this is the year Halo gets a new face... With Halo 3 right around the corner, and Halo wars some time after that... Halo 2 is going to pass into "the games that were once played pile." I still own Halo 1, but I almost never play it, due to its lack of online play, I canβt seem to ever pick it up like I once had so many years ago.
As the sun sets on old X-box games, I get this feeling that Halo 2 is close to becoming a Relic... (Pun intended)

Too bad two steps off the island was falling off a cliff ;^; But Relic was a really fun map, especially getting on top of it

luckily people still do play halo 1 (myself included) i dont play it much on my xbox but on my PC i play halo 1 alot, and from time to time i hop on halo 2 and you'd be suprised how many people still play it. but i understand where you were going with this pic and lemme say that thing picture is beautiful ! relic was also one of my favorite multiplayer maps

I agree...
Halo 1 was a game that i could play over and over, trying diffrent things and exploring the vast levels. Halo 2 was no where near as fun a Halo 1 when it came to Single player.
Bungie took what could have been the coolest story/plot twists
(The Arbiter) and made the Campaign in Halo 2 so vast... but it fell short in every way.
The only thing that kept me playing Halo 2 was the vast multiplayer it had.

I guess the joke's on me for never getting into multiplayer. Completed Halo1 on legendary again just a few months back. When it comes to single player, the second one comes second.
Due to rushed feel of Brutes and unbalanced legendary difficulty (no Elite should keep moving after a plasma stick to the face and the single shot kill -snipers really make the day every time) Halo2 falls a few feet short.
