I like the meaning of this picture. I myself was often confused by society, hesitated, didn't know what to choose. It's hard to have your own opinion in this screwed up world.

wow.
amazing message
REALLY. :] it's so true.
I agree with everything but the religion. my faith in God is really strong, but seriously, I hate those stupid evangelist people who thrust god upon you. that's just not how it works. He came to me. I mean I've been raised christian all my life but have never truly believed up until a few months ago...it's hard to explain. but really, those jesus freaks get on my neeerves (especially after watching jesus camp - I mean little 7 year olds speaking in tongues and shit? :shudder: it's just creepy. they're only pushing people away from God...) so bad. so don't worry. I'm NOOOOT one of those people
but yah, really good message.
although I do kinda think being a rock star would be rad. but I mean, I have talent. not to brag at all. but it's sad that people actually waste those american idol auditioner types' life by saying they're good. they could be, I dunno, giving someone a new kidney or feeding kids in Africa. not blowing out my ear drums Dx
yah sometimes I feel like a puppet
but not anymore...
after camp (it explains it in my journal - too lazy to re-tell xD) I was really strengthened. I know who I am and I feel like my own person. I feel loved, content, optimistic...and most importantly not controlled by the media and everything and everyone else anymore. phew. :]

yeah thats cool that you figure all that out
and i mean i know you dont take offence to the religion thing but i mean fer real no one can be forced upon God and it bother me the most people think they can force God on people
but in saying that i think its ironic how many wars start over religion [Iraq much?]
but thats good to hear r not a puppet anymore :]

This reminds me of a photo shoot from America's Next Top Model XD
O.o you seem...quite angry. I agree with most of it--especially the religion crap. I actually had a dream that I was screaming at people for pushing their beliefs on me last night O.o It's stupid...it's all just made up so people won't feel so lonely...

yeah, I really think our country (for the past 100 years) has been having issues with just keeping to itself...we try to fix everyone else's problems before we fix our own! Not to mention, no one wants our help anyways--it just makes them hate us more >.< whatever happend to the good ole isolationist days, huh? When all we did was trade with other countries? Blah.
You should buy a pentagram necklace and shove it in the kid's face! Be like "whooo Satan!" XDDD

ughhh
I know how you feel
people who I thought were my friends drink and do drugs now.
I mean, they're still good friends - I just never hang out with them after school. I don't wanna get sucked into their little vortex of constantly trying to find happiness in worthless things that'll just kill you.
all I can do is hope and pray they get over it and find their real self again. D:

I honestly don't need things to escape reality.
especially things that'll give you gnarly hangovers and cancer and other loooovely things.
yahhh. that's why I'm happy the election finally came. I want anyone but mccain. cuz he reminds me of bush and I do nooot want another bush. I wish ron paul would be the leading republican candidate... my stepdad voted for him. what sucks is nobody ever talked about him like in the news so he just kinda faded.
we all suck.

Not a day goes by I don't think on half of the things you've mentioned just now. Probably the most horrifying thing regarding that is that I think this stuff because every time I turn around, it's all happening. Really, it's starting to make my stomach lurch.
And, when I really think about it, for five or six periods of the day I'm surrounded by puppets. Maybe there are true individuals in the mass as well, but the puppets completely block them from me.

yeah and that makes you a real mature person
you have an old soul to notice that
most people dont even see it ever
but the people who do
they know the differance
but we arnt productive in society ourselves
for we point them out
and dont do anyhting about it
cz
we dont know how

Well I might have a few ideas. Every time I think on it for too long I come to the speed bump that asks me "so what're you gonna do about it?"
My only qualm to carrying out these endeavors is the fact that they involve a basic level of logical intelligence... which I've yet to find in a puppet. The rubber/glue clichΓ© comes to mind.
So I keep thinking. I'd like to believe that one day I'll be able to bring a revelation to them. That way nobody has to grieve over millions of wasted potentials.
On a side note I've directly tried a few of my plots on the puppets before and that's how I've come to the aforementioned rubber/glue factor.
But that goes right back to your last line: we don't know how.

yeah
i mean the only way i can really think to get this out there is to get in trouble for it
to be politicaly in correct
to get in trouble in converstaions
to talk about things no one wants to say
to to get introublke for my opinion
so im pretty much ready to be a martyer for this
and when i hear people talk ignorantly to share my opinion on thier opinon
we have to be loud
cz other wise
our whispers get lost in the wind

CrazedPotato In reply to Darkness76 [2008-03-07 01:38:05 +0000 UTC]
That is how it is, now that you mention it. Whenever I finally deliver an incontrovertible point, the subject magically changes or ends. And some kind of sporty proverbial shell closes over them and that's that.
You have a great point, too. Perhaps not to death, but some manner of martyrdom might be the only working measure in this situation. After all, news of travesties spreads like wildfire. As long as it's not a hellish game of Telephone that might be the major impact.

Darkness76 In reply to CrazedPotato [2008-03-07 01:45:05 +0000 UTC]
yeah
i mean not todeath sure
but u have to force people to talk about it
honestly i think people feel better when they do everyone is just so scared to say anyhting anymore because or society?
i mean even though our society is pretty lose in terms of lookin at the past
why dont people speak how they feel?
i never understand about it
so what if someone doesnt agree with you or you dont agree with them
maturity is all acceptance
you cant afford to get offended or youll just turn yourself to hatred of others
be raunchy
say what you want
cz if you hold yourself back in words
youll hold yourself back in life

There is still a sense of "living hell" to modern American society.
Whereas most officially enslaving countries will enforce the law by shooting people down on the spot, that's not how hell is. Hell is a slow death, perhaps even perpetual. (This isn't as strongly alluding to the religious impression as the concept standing alone, like in some mythologies even.) If you're shot, how is that perpetual? That's the end right there.
Oh, of course, what American people do is ostracize and isolate those who don't adhere to the in-crowd and try to force them to either join or suffer to the end of their days. A pain worse than death.
Perhaps this sort of talk needs to get to the eyes and ears of more people. If it can be put into perspective, maybe that will turn over some new leaves. When horror talks, people listen. Haven't scary movies taught people anything?

Darkness76 In reply to CrazedPotato [2008-03-07 13:00:19 +0000 UTC]
maybe
a horror movie about this needs to be made
with realistic exaggerations and all
the worst part to me tho
is knowing how much money one idividual can have
and they dont share it with thought who need it
Greed is the worst here
π: 0 β©: 1
CrazedPotato In reply to Darkness76 [2008-03-07 16:57:59 +0000 UTC]
What's interesting is that the concept of that sort of greed extends beyond just money. Every time somebody criticizes somebody, like calling them some ugly idiot, they've accomplished nothing. The human race will come to a bitter standstill unless people can start helping others up rather than pointing and laughing all the time.
