Description
So darkened convinced me to take a picture of my rat I had gotten (made a journal about it last year) and here he is, almost a year old! He was about 5 weeks old when I got him so he'll be a year towards the end of May or sometime in June. That is paper bedding, blue and purple, the purple is only there right now because that was what was left of the previous bag, so I added in the blue, which is our new bag, to make it colorful lol

And in case you're wondering, that thing you see by his ear in the bedding is his mini treat stick (that is more rectangle shaped) and its golden honey flavor, he loves it, and he only gets one once a month so I have to make sure when I clean his cage each week that I'm not throwing it away. There are two more levels in his cage (hence why you see no bowl or water bottle, they're on the second levels) and he used to have a twine ball in there, but he tore it to shreds and made a nest out of it, which I accidentally tossed in the garbage so I'm working on getting him a replacement twine ball, as well as some more stuff in his cage.

That brown thing in the way back of the picture is his thing he chews on, it serves three purposes for him and only one of which it was meant for: sleeping, chewing, and peeing on it, no joke about that last one

He does have a white spot on his head though, but the cage bars are hiding it from view
