A glamor shot of my TARDIS notebook fashioned after River Song's from...the River Song episodes which I don't feel like naming at the moment. Made during a long night with she made one too, so go see hers when it's posted. She made hers to actually be useful so it's not as trashed as mine but it still looks cool.It's made from a five dollar notebook from Barnes and Noble, cardboard, craft foam, black and blue acrylic paint, fixitive, luck, blood, sweat, and tears. I stained the pages with coffee, ink, and used some water damage.
Other stuff in the picture is my TARDIS USB dock, my tenth sonic screwdriver, and my fob watch (which is not the Doctor Who fob watch, but who gives a flying fart in space...and time.)
Anyway, I feel very accomplished.

Did you cover the book with a sealant or something? Because I'm in the process of making one but I don't know what to cover the paint with...

I didn't cover it with anything. It just painted it and left it dry. I mean unless you're scraping it on concrete and dumping it in mud puddles there's no need for a sealant of any kind.

It's just cardboard, craft foam and paint. It was sort of flying by the seat of my pants.

the original book underneath all of the blue crap I got at Barnes and Noble but you can just use a sketchbook or a journal from anywhere

This is awesome!! How did you make it? I really want to make one too, mostly 'cause I need a knew journal... And it would be so fantastic to have a tardis notebook!

Basically, I bought a super cheap-o journal then glued cardboard to it as a base it thicken it up, then put craft foam on top in the designs of the TARDIS doors, modeled after River Song notebook then painted it blue with blue acrylic paint. If you actually want to use it as a real notebook don't mess with the pages. I destroyed mine because I wanted it to look just like the River Song notebook, but my friend just kept hers clean it works really well as a notebook for school.
