Description
Reptile:I wanted to go back to basics with pretty much all of the designs for these ninjas, but make their costumes accurate to their character. Therefore Reptile should not look human, he is reptilian and I wanted that to show (as it did in the new game). Although MK9 his costumes are too refined, with armor and nonsense. I believe he should look more wild, like a creature. As if there are a clan of reptilians who crafted their uniforms from old rags (or stole them from fallen enemies) and have no means of repairing. Therefore they would always be dirty and torn, I think it makes Reptile a bit more threatening looking.

very nicely done. I think the idea of torn armor would also work well for a re-design of Baraka. Like the Tarkatan warriors are given really nice armor by Shao Kahn but being barbarians they don't know how to maintain it so it quickly falls into disrepair. Anyway, just my thoughts after reading the description. Really nice MK re-designs all around by the way.

Interesting. Glad you like Reptile because it seems he's getting the least amount of love. I have a soft spot for his design because he has no armor (and I'm not a fan of armor) that's why I tried to do it subtly with the other guys.
Ermac NEEDS armor for the character origin I was going with.
Scorpion just has spikes to make him look more deadly.
And Sub-Zero isn't really heavy duty, it would just be Japanese leather samurai armor, nothing too bulky and heavy like in the games.
