This is gonna sound weird but I actually did some reasearch and your right Giraffes and ponies cannot breed togheter. The closest thing related to both of them is the offspring of an okapie and pony. The okapies are actually in the same family than the giraffes but they don't have their long neck. So you are right, ponies cannot have offspring with giraffes it is a scientific fact.Β
I wasn't too fond of the idea at first since it kinda felt out of the left field to me and seemed to stretch between probability but since I was doing a collabe with someone that suggested me this I finally warmed up to the idea and came up with a (somwhat) logical explaination to this strange oddity.
