Oh god, this movie is so bad... really entertaining, yes, but really chessy. But in the end, it kinda is one of the best videogames adaptation... it give us beautiful women fighting in a tournament (except for poor Lei Fang, if you blink yo can literally miss her) and fanservice... yeah, maybe Detective Pikachu will be a good, or at least a decente movie.

Je, si, no es buena, pero es entretenida y algo fiel a los juegos, a diferencia de otras películas de su tipo.
Admito que me sorprendió saber que había una película live-action de DOA... y que al parecer es el único medio visual de DOA que hay aparte de los juegos.

Eh, no creo que Anderson sea tan mal director (el tipo dirigio Mortal Kombat, despues de todo... y en lo personal creo que la primera peli de Resident Evil es decente).
He visto algunas entrevistas respecto a la peli de Monster Hunter y parece que el tipo esta bastante entusiasmado... algo que definitivamente no puedo decir de directores como Uwe Boll

El problema con Anderson es que desde que se casó con Mila Jovovich, todas sus películas revuelan alrededor del personaje que escriba para ella. Sabemos muy bien como fue arruinando cada película de Residen Evil al exagerar más a Alice, en la primera no fue tan mala la cosa, como dices, es decente. Con Monster Hunter no debería de existir un problema igual, puesto que fuera de NPCS recurrentes, no hay "protagonistas" como tal en la serie, lo que le dejaría poner a Mila como la mejor cazadora de la historia, etc. Pero viendo que su personaje va a ser un humano común y corriente, lo más seguro es que saldrá que al final ella va a ser la más perrona de todos, aunque en su vida nunca haya visto ni un solo monstruo.
En fin, yo no le tengo fe al tipo, para nada. Ojala y me equivoque y esta sea la peli de videojuegos buena.

Tina Armstrong and Helena Douglas knowing how to wield swords as if it comes second nature to them is just way too stupid to even remotely believe. Since when would they have learned how to master using them as unlike knives and other smaller weapons,not everybody can pick up one and then swing around them without looking like a complete buffoon. In regards to Christie,as a professional assassin,I can somewhat accept her possessing some degree of knowledge on the fundamental basics how to use one without harming herself, but obviously she cannot exactly carry one around if her goal is to kill her targets without them being made aware she is armed.
They might as well should have attempted making a Ninja Gaiden movie instead.

The moment I saw Helena in the movie, that was the moment I knew the movie was gonna be bad... FFS, they turned her into a western Hitomi wtf... And the katanas... Just off... The only character I saw that seemed accurate from my weak standpoint was Christie... And not to mention I heard former WWF/WCW wrestler Kevin Nash played Bass, those to me are probably the only things I saw fit into the box of positive takes.
But for this work, I must say... I like that you put Helena at the center like that.

Yeah, Helena's easily the worst of the bunch... although I will say that the rest of my favorite ladies were handled a bit better, with Tina being the best one in my opinion!
As for Helena's placement, that's because I based this on this shot from the movie... although I would've put her in the center anyways!

The movie was definitely bad and not the best interpretation for a I know and love so much
