My fav pairing in One Piece... again.I dont care what anyone says... they are soooo meant for each other
They both have the cute youthful look to them. They both a have a bit of a "greed" problem. ( Even though hers is for money and his is for food ). Shes also the one they send in to reason with Luffy. Hes always trying to make her laugh ( I thought how he tried to cheer her up when she was sick was adorable ). Nami always trusts in him when it counts. She always sits by him... walks by him.... Oda always draws her playing around with him more than the rest of the members. Then theres those looks of aww and admeration when he fights that I have yet to see her give any of the other strong males of the crew.... I could mention a few more if they werent spoilers... but Ive made my point though... damnit. 
This was acually very time consuming. I was told in the past that the black lines that I use are distracting and take away from my art... so this is one of my several different attemps at colored line work. All in all I think it DOES make a huge difference and looks alot better. Its just very time consuming for me.... I wish I knew how other people were oing it... I use the define brush and then the lasso to single out different parts and make them different colors... its harder than it looks. And my mouse is really making me hurt things
It should look better considering the time it took...Oh yeah... for those who dont know... its Luffy and Nami from One Piece

I agree. They do make a cute couple. Maybe Oba-sensei plans to make them an item at some point. Who knows, Luffy might start calling her the Pirate Queen.

Excelent pic. I like the way you depicted both characters. They both seem to really enjoy being around each other. This has got to be my favorite pairing in One Piece.

Ya know, I'm not usually into pairing off characters, but I think you might have just converted me. One Piece is one of my favorite series (not counting the damn 4kids dub... God I hate 4kids), and Luffy is without a doubt my favorite character. I love the way you portray him and Nami with your own style. Great work!

Great costumes! They actually look like pirates for a change.
Love the colours and the way their arms are wrapped around the other, but it's the look of complete and utter adoration on Luffy's face that seals it. These two only have eys for each other.

yes yes I agree... sometimes I think the anime takes out Lu/Na hints that were in the manga... they also left out alot of part where Sanji completly drops Nami when he sees another girl

i agree with most that u say and well any add on must be a huge spoil.. even in the anime are more clues of this pair than the manga.. depends on wich are u following (specially on the sagas that actually doesnt exist in the real manga ver x3).
Before even one piece manga, luffy has been always next to a girl that is just like nami with other names.. so seems oda already made up his mind bout his "always companion" whatever it ends in love or not....

What program are you using to color? Because if you use photoshop there's a REALLY easy way to color linework in that....

Im useing photoshop CS... I just dont know how to use it like most people do... most tutorials skip over the simple stuff ... Ill eventually figure everything out... You should have seen how sucky I used to be at doing CGs... it was sad

basically, you take your black linework and put it on a new layer (instead of background). Then you go to the 'channels' tab of the layer window and click on the little dotted outline circle at the bottom and hit delete. This effectively selects and deletes all the white areas of that layer leaving you with just the black outline. (you can also color on layers -underneath- your linework this way). When you've got this layer selected, all you have to do is click on the little checkered icon (that locks the layer), and choose a color and paint over your linework. What it does is makes it so that the only thing you can color is what's already in the layer (iow, your linework). And it's clean and accurate, no rough edges or anything.

Your theory does make sense. I don't hate this pairing, but I love this more than let's say.. ZoNa or SaNa. Maybe, maybe~ I haven't seriously paired them up in my mind to anyone anyway, so~ XD
