Well I kinda need more practice when it comes to muscles since I tend to avoid them most of the time, but I have been practicing drawing people in general.

I started like that too and initially stuck mostly with creatures(mostly of the fantasy variety), but in the past couple of years I've been trying to refine my skills and make my humans more realistic. My teacher last semester had some helpful printouts on human structure, so that is helping, but I'm still not that comfortable in drawing larger musculature since I've only tried maybe twice but probably only once in doing so. Well, in the past five years anyway.

I can understand that. I have waaaaay more fun drawing dragons and creating my own critters. However, having a more stylistic human image that is open to personal interpretation does make me more inclined to draw fanart I must admit.That's partially why I'm working on so much Mianite art right now.

Cute/derpy has it's own allure in my opinion, but I know what you mean. I think I've given up on buff Wag for the time being because it's not coming out too well. I might come back to it after I work on some other stuff, but I'm just getting frustrated with it right now T-T
