As we lay on flowers dreamingof where we left, the sun still gleaming
its light holding no warmth for us
and the warmth we found
where we fell into darkness

I think as the golden flowers surround you and consume me
But freedom comes with a price
of blood, of hurt, of sacrifice
and from this path we cannot waver
for this is the burden of a Dreamer...
I've been working on this for a long time, but kept putting off working on it due to other projects. I really started working on it due to looking into the dialogue and descriptions of some of the things of the game. One thing that stood out that hadn't before was the description of the bandage 'It has already been used many times.' This kid fell down into the underground with a bandage that has already been used several times. That gave me a lot of feels(and made me pretty sure it's a cloth bandage, because who can get a bandaid to stick again once, let alone several times). Anyway, the point was, I was getting feels over the bandage thing, and translated those feels to art, making sure to include the re-used bandage in all its grossness.
also please forgive me for still not being that used to drawing digitally, I still feel rather new to this @~@

Aaaaaah, I can't get over how much I love this!! It's just so amazingly well done, and I love all the little details, such as with Frisk's bandage and Chara's locket (I love how you included both the weapon and 'armor' for both of them!), and lighting and shading, and just, well, all of it! Amazing job!!!

Thank you very much! I could probably do a bit better now if I had the time, but it was one of my favorites I worked on at the time and I put a lot of effort into it. The items were something I wanted to focus on at the time, so I had to do at least one drawing featuring them XD

this is really awesome, especially since you say you're not accustomed to drawing digitally. I think it came out wonderfully... all the details are simply beautiful. My only suggestion would be to not use blacks/grays as a shading color. Maybe that's what you were going for, but I personally think the picture would pop a lot more if you used vibrant colors to shade it with. Or, if you want it look more muted, then use more muted colors. Eh. Just personal opinion, you don't have to take the suggestion x3 I still think this is really amazing, and a lot more detailed than some of the crap I do, haha! The anatomy's good and just... in general this picture is pretty feels-y, so good job on that. And now I'm rambling. Sorry.

I don't normally like sticking with black/grey for shading, but I am more accustomed to coloring with colored pencil where I have a pallet defined with what colors I have on hand, so it's kinda weird having unlimited color choices and figuring out how to use that. I was really just using different shades of the same colors, but then I went over it with a bit of black shadow because I was thinking dark cave, but I will try to keep your suggestion in mind for future use. And I ramble often enough, I don't mind at all, lol. Thank you for the suggestions and praise, it makes me quite happy! ^u^

Yeah, that makes perfect sense, and hey I wouldn't have any idea how to shade cave-like surroundings either... so you did awesome here! Unlimited color choice is definitely odd at first, but it gets really awesome c: I'm glad to have all the huge range of colors I have. Keep up the awesome work; you'll get used to digital art someday. It took me a veeeery long time, but now that I'm accustomed to it, that's pretty much all I do (sadly enough). I haven't touched my physical sketchpad and pencils for a very long time.
