Look, there are two versions of this, an old and a new. This is the old one where she is the leader. In the new version (link in describtion) she is dead and someone else (her now deputy) is the new leader.

Oh sorry, I didnt saw the "die", well, Fire Opal killed her. And dont ask for the reasons, there are A LOT. The main are: She wanted her job and she hated her in general.
