Rackan era un prestigioso científico Eshian que se enamoró de Zenn, una senador del Consejo de Eshios. Fruto de este amor ella quedó encinta. Trágicamente, después de menos de dos meses el incendio que destruyó el Consejo alcanzó a Zenn y murió al día siguiente en un hospital. Su hijo apenas se había desarrollado lo suficiente como para sobrevivir fuera de ella, aún así Rackan se negó a perder el último recuerdo de su esposa y extrajo el feto de su vientre. Creó un ambiente artificial óptimo y tuvo que crear modificaciones en el feto para que se pudiese adaptar. Rackan consiguió que el bebé sobreviviera pero a las condiciones en las que lo hizo no pudo desarrollar órganos sexuales y su personalidad quedó indefinida e inestable.
El gobierno conservador de Eshios no permitía que un suceso como este se llevase a cabo, por lo que quisieron a Rackan muerto. Este, junto al bebé bautizado como Retros, se ocultó de las autoridades y no fue encontrado tras siete años cuando fue asesinado frente a su hijo. Retros logró escapar, ahora perdido sin saber siquiera su identidad y función en el mundo.[...]
Retros utiliza un traje adaptable creado por su padre que se adhiere a su cuerpo para permitirle sobrevivir en el exterior. Esto lo protege de los impactos físicos al transformarse en material rígido y absorber las vibraciones en el área de impacto.

Rackan was a prestigious Eshian scientist who fell in love with Zenn, a senator from the Council of Eshios. Fruit of this love she became pregnant. Tragically, after less than two months the fire that destroyed the Council reached Zenn and died the next day in a hospital. Their son had barely developed enough to survive outside of her, yet Rackan refused to lose the last memory of his wife and extracted the fetus from her womb. He created an optimal artificial environment and he had to create DNA changes in the fetus so that it could be adapted. Rackan got the baby to survive but the conditions in which it did it couldn't develop sexual organs and it's personality was undefined and unstable.
The conservative government of Eshios didn'tt allow an event like this to take place, so they wanted Rackan dead. He, together with the baby baptized as Retros, hid from the authorities and they wasn't found after seven years when he was murdered in front of his son. Retros managed to escape, now lost without even knowing his identity and role in the world.[...]

Retros uses an adaptive suit created by its father that sticks to his body to allow him to survive on the outside. This protects it from physical impacts by transforming itself into rigid material and absorbing vibrations in the area of impact.
