its actually false that chlorine wreaks wigs. Mine is Japanese synthetic fiber so it will do nothing.

Nice. People always worry that you're not supposed to wash them with shampoo for normal hair, too, but I've always done that to mine, and it doesn't do anything as long as you don't have the water too hot. (I also put conditioner, which helps untangle them)
