Description
I'm not sure what inspired me to do this pencil drawing. I suppose I was thinking a bit about my art teacher who passed away years ago and thinking about what it must of been like in his old age to eat all alone after he had been married for decades. Time stops for none, and in the end the ravages of time tick by. In the end, we are all chased by the big bad crock with the clock in the belly of the beast that goes tic-tock, tic-tock, tic-tock.I love the textures and patterns that were incorporated in this picture. The old wallpaper, the plaid old shirt, the old wooden table. Everything in this drawing was intended to feel old and yet be frozen in time.
