I stare in shock at the golden dragon, not believing that it had hatched for me.

(How big is the dragon?)

The dragon tilted its head, then rubbed its snout against your arm, its scales warm and soft, since they hadn't had a chance to harden

(about half your size)

I stroked the top of the dragon's head and went all the way to its snout, noticing 3 foot tall body looking small and a little frail.

I smiled widely, being beyond happy that a dragon hatched for me.

It ran back to the main part of the cave, looking at the hatchlings, trying to locate one...no, three different hatchlings, listening in on their conversation quickly before moving on when their voices didn't sound familiar. 'Where are they, where are they!?'
