I curl up tight in his hand, still shaking fearfully. I looked down to see a serpentine lower half. A Naga. I'd just been taken by a Naga.

I duck when he does so, expecting some kind of attack from him.

Emma froze in fear, whimpering. If she heard the door open, or saw the naga enter, she didn't say anything. She started to struggle, screaming, "N-no!! Don't p-please!!" She cried, "Please! Someone, help me!!"

Alex gasped, then slithered forward. "What is the meaning of this!?" He snapped, snatching the human from the dridder.
The dridder gulped. "T-the human has been in s-stock too long...he needs to be...disposed of." He said meekly

"P-Please, please, please..." The young girl cried, sobbing hard, "I-I don't want... I don't want to d-die!" She gripped the naga's finger, shaking terribly.

Alex growled. "I'll take her..."
The dridder shuddered. "S-she's...f-f-free..." He squeaked

Emma looked up at the naga, shocked clear in her multicolored eyes. No one ever wanted to buy her, she was a freak, she looked to the dridder, still trembling.

The naga looked down, nuzzling her with a coo as he slithered out of the shop. "You okay?"

Emma nods, "Y-yes, sir...." She let out a relieved sob, "Th-thank you."

He smiled, purring softly as he hugged her to his chest

She curled up, making her already tiny frame seem smaller, "H-He was going to f-feed me to the snake in the b-back...." She shuddered, whimpering.

I struggle to get out of the shopkeeper's hand, even going as far as to bite them. When I heard the doorbell chime, I look at whoever it was, not caring what species it was. "Help me! He's gonna feed to to a snake! Help!"

I squealed in fear as I struggled in the shopkeepers fingers. I heard the bell for the front door go off, signalling someone had come in. I saw a blurry shape through the tears in my eyes and called out.
"Hey!! Help, he's gonna feed me to the snake in the back!!"

The shop keeper cringed. "S-she's been in stock far too long, sir...s-she won't get a home anytime soon, so...w-we feed the pets in stock too long to the boa in back..."

Sniffling, I wiped away my tears, gasping as my vision cleared. A Naga?!Surely that was worse then the snake in back! Whimpering, I struggled in the shopkeepers grasp more.

Alex growled, moving around the dridder. "That's no excuse to murder someone like her!" He spat, tail flicking angrily
The shop keeper gulped, trembling a bit. "I-if you like...t-then...y-you can have her...f-free." He said, all but throwing her in his direction
The naga gasped, lunging forward and catching Amy gently, looking down at her. "Are you okay?"

I screamed as I flew threw the air, grunting when I landed on something soft. I heard a voice above me, but I was dazed from the landing and fast movements from before. Groaning, I squeezed my eyes shut tight, curling in on myself.
"Ow....m'head hurts..."

Groaning, my vision slowly cleared and I noticed it was the Naga holding me. Whimpering, I nodded quickly.
"Y-yes sir." I said quickly, obviously nervous.

I couldn't help giggling when he nuzzled me, pushing at his cheek.
