Please read description.I am currently limiting the number of rps I will do.
Things to consider:
I prefer paragraph/story style.
Capitalization, punctuation, and quality matter.
In general, longer is better. However...
I don't mind short posts some of the time, as long as you give me something to work with.
Your answers to the questions should be part of your 'intro post'. As in fitting the whole paragraph style rp format. And some form of character description should be included. Y'kinda gotta give me something to work with.
This is designed to go with giants, giant beings, or some form of intelligent predatory creature/being (naga, demi-dragon, dragon, etc)

Cool so how about I play a dragon guy. And I will go over to her to carefully pick her up to protect her but secretly (even to me) also wants to know if I have really been missing out on something truly amazing. Is there anything else I need to put?

(Alright I will start I guess. Oh and if I slip into script sorry I just am more used to script form.)
I walk towards her ,acting like I don’t see her. But, as I pass where she is hiding I slip my tail around her and gently lift her with it.

The girl ducks down when he comes near, trying to hide. Just as she starts to sigh with relief she is scooped up by his tail and nearly cries out, but quickly covers her mouth before she actually can. A bit strange, most of the humans wouldn’t hesitate to scream because it helps others know when one is approaching.
The girl struggled to get loose, clearly scared, but strangely quiet as she continually tried to escape.

I look curious about that and wonder if she may be protecting another human or something from the others, so I look around where she was as I keep her wrapped in my tail but something odd to her probably would be that I wasn’t calling the others over as I was searching unlike the other predators.

There was no sign of other humans nearby, in fact she seemed to be some distance from where the others had been found and the direction most had fled. The only thing out of place was a bag she had apparently been carrying before she tried to hide, likely containing survival supplies she utilized. Despite her obvious panic, she remained silent, seeming to refuse to scream despite how most humans would react.

This keeps me interested but I don’t let it bother me as I walk towards my car keeping her in my tail surprisingly not eating her... at least not yet and is holding her bag in hand though it isn’t the best thing in the coils of my lightly wagging tail.

The girl finally talks, although she seems to be working to keep her voice steady instead of panicked, “Please... let me go...” She keeps her tone somewhat soft, as if avoiding yelling or showinf too much emotion... quite different from the panicked cries, screams, and begging coming from other captured humans.

“Hmm? So you can talk. Why should I let you go?” I open my car door and start climbing in while transitioning her to my hand. “I mean I don’t even plan to hurt you.”

“You... don’t? Then why did you grab me like that? You scared me... I... I almost screamed... almost...” She gave a slight shudder at that comment, almost as if she was afraid to scream, “You really shouldn’t have grabbed me... And I don’t understand why you would even be out here if not to hunt like the others... but you should still let me go, before anything happens...”

“Come on if I let you go now my friends would find you right away. And if I kept you there are laws against your kind when they are pets to another pred.” I say while putting her in my lap so I can start the car. “Though it isn’t a perfect solution the most you would have to deal with from now on is the occasional lick and maw play.” Which I say almost looking like I wouldn’t enjoy it either but deep down I want to do it right now to see how tasty humans actually are.

“You don’t understand... there’s a reason I wasn’t near the others. There’s a reason I don’t act like most others...” The second he let go of her she was moving, scrambling over his lap as if to try to find somewhere to hide until she could escape, possibly planning to hide between or under the seat, but clearly not planning to just sit put once he released her. She didn’t have any reason to trust him or believe him, and she didn’t want to take chances.

This actually aggravates me a bit because she will end up accidentally hurting herself if she keeps this up and so I use my tail to wrap her up again before she go to far away or out of reach* “Okay then what makes you so special? I don’t really understand. And while you tell me calm down and stay put in my tail coil because I don’t want you to get hurt.”

“I was lucky this group tolerated me after what happened with my mother. I have... an ability. But it’s not easy to control. I can... do things... with my voice. I don’t know how to explain everything, but the important part is that screaming is very, very bad. My mom once tried using her scream to save people when a predator found a village... but it wasn’t just the predator affected... the people the predator had already grabbed...” She fell silent, seeming hesitant to continue on the topic.

I look at her confused and curious but above all concerned. “You might as well finish up. I know you probably don’t trust me still but I promise you are safe. I have friends that are full on preds. I know how horrible we are to tiny beings especially humans.” I say as I start driving my worst memory of seeing the massacres being from my own family, which I don’t live at all near anymore thankfully for my little... pet? But I know how horrible it is and how horrifying it is to be a prey like humans in the frenzies of devouring their kind.

She remained silent a moment, “I told you enough for you to work it out. I don’t want to talk about it because it’s a terrible memory.” She looked away, then briefly glanced down at his tail wrapped around her. She put her hands on it and started trying to see if she could push herself free of how he was holding her. Not that she stood much of a chance, but she still didn’t really trust what he had said.

I don’t try to stop her in fact I unbind her as I drive and pet her with my tail keeping it close to her on my passenger seat but I try to show she can trust me. “Alright. That is fine. I wouldn’t want to force you into telling me something that will make you hurt.”

She sighed, “It’s not exactly fun to think about seeing my mom try to save some of her friends from a predator only to accidentally kill them in the process... which lead to us both being exiled for being ‘too dangerous’ to have around. And when I finally find people understanding, willing to let me be around them... today I watched them hunted down, and after what happened with my mom I didn’t dare try to save them.”

I pout and gently scoops her up almost home anyways and hugs her with one hand firmly but not so tight that I hurt her. “I am sorry to hear that. That must have been so horrible.” I say as I turn into my drive way.

She clamps a hand over her mouth when she nearly cries out in surprise when he grabs her so suddenly. After a moment she relaxes a bit and sighs, “You really shouldn’t startle me like that. I just told you that if I scream it can hurt people... what do you think I was referring to when I told you what my mom did? She tried to use her scream as a weapon against a predator.” She rest a hand over her face, “I still don’t understsnd why you were out there in the first place, much less why you grabbed me.”

“My friends wanted me to join them on a human hunt for some dumb reason. They know I hate it. And I took you because I wanted to protect you. You where alone and looked helpless. And you needed help. And the thing your mom could do I had no idea what it would turn out to be.”

“Then you aren’t paying attention. Because one of the first things I said was that it was a bad idea to startle or scare me because it would be really bad if I scream.” She sighed, “So the reason you grabbed me was because I was far from the others and by myself? Hmph... I just hope some of the others escaped... they were nice... the first time in ages anyone was willing to take a chance being around me... One of them was even helping me practice some of the other things I can do with my voice... he wanted to help me.”

I pout feeling bad for you then think of an idea. “Hey. Sometimes my friends will not get everyone and some will even keep a couple for later. Maybe I can find him for you.” I get out of the car and walk inside with her still being held close to me.

“Even if some made it, he probably didn’t. He was the sort of guy who would use himself as a distraction so others had a chance to escape. Because of that, he was probably one of tbe first caught. For once someone isn’t completely paranoid about what I can do... is even willing to help me... and he’s gone.” She sighed, looking away.

*pouts* “Well... I am here... and I am not being paranoid am I? And who knows maybe I will find out he ended up in someone’s fridge even if hopes are slim I would like to try to help in any way I can.” *takes her inside the house with me smiling kindly at her*

“You aren’t paranoid because you don’t seem to understand how bad it is. Your kind is so used to seeing us as helpless, easy prey you can’t even register the possibility that I could have an ability that’s dangerous to you. That I could kill someone by accident. Even someone as big as you. And that’s just one things. There’s other aspects to it. Other things I can do, but haven’t practiced.” She sighed, shaking her head. “So it’s not the same.”

*pouts and pets you lightly* “Hey don’t worry... I can try to help... but for now how about you get used to my house as I make you some food? What you want?” *I say thinking she wants some alone time and I will make some calls when she is out of the room I know the small chance but... I feel so bad... I need to help any way I can and if her friend is alive I will find him for her*

She cringed away slightly at the touch, still not trusting him. “I just watched the only friends I’ve ever had die, and even though I have an ability that should let me fight back, I couldn’t risk it. I had the ability to do something, but...” She sighed, “I don’t have any appetite. And Jacob... he carried a sword so he could stab any predators that grabbed him. I doubt they’d keep him alive after that.” She looked away, frowning. “He was even starting to convince the others to give me a chance. Helping me practice some of the... less harmful attributes of what I can do. I actually thought I was going to be able to help for once... then we were found.”

*pouts and sighs* “Look. I am trying to help. I know this is hard for you to believe but I am not a pred that eats your kind. I have never even done as much as lick a human.” *gently sets her down* “and I know that you don’t have any hope but I have hope that I can keep you safe. I could care less if you could kill me with your scream. I just want to protect you.”

She frowned, looking away, “But I also have no way to know if you are telling the truth. And my scream is only part of it. I have to be careful with even speaking, because if too much emotion carries in my voice, it can start to... influence people. Singing certain tunes can cause different feelings in people. Notice how I try to keep my voice level as much as possible? Because just talking wrong can affect people.” She sighs, “While it can be beneficial, it’s also extremely difficult to deal with at times.”
She rest her hand over her eyes, trying to keep herself as calm as possible, “As for what you say about keeping me safe and all that... I haven’t forgotten you mentioned tasting me. That doesn’t exactly inspire trust.”

“I said lick. And I would only do that as a way to keep my friends from bothering you and me. Trust me I don’t want to lick you. But if it makes your life easier then I would do it. It is a stupid norm of our society that the... ‘master’ *I sound actually aggravated by that term and look annoyed I have to say it* is supposed to taste their ‘pet’ *again aggravated that I had to say the word* every once in a while as a normal thing and that is how my friends view having a human in their house. Of course. I don’t want a pet I don’t want to be a master. I just want to know that I have saved you and you will be safe as long as you live.” *I seem passionate about this even if you don’t trust me I am trying to help even with all that you said*

She stared up at him, seeming surprised at the emotion in his voice while speaking on the topic, “You... you actually disapprove of how humans are treated, don’t you? I... I honestly never would have expected to hear one of your kind talk like that about this sort of thing. The fact that humans are intelligent, thinking beings actually has meaning to you even though we are much smaller...” She looked away, seeming to be considering the situation again now that she had seen this reactiin from him.
After a moment, without looking up at him, she spoke again, “I guess... I guess I can give it a chance. I... can try to learn how to be accepting of it... But if you do anything to hurt me... I will use my abilities to fight back any way I can. I told you about my scream, but there’s other things too.”

*smiles* “I understand. And don’t worry. You are fully safe with me. Now do you want to explore the house while I make us some dinner?” *I ask leaning down happy she finally realized that I am on her side!* “What would you like to eat?”

She backed up a few steps, a bit nervous of having him lean close like that when she was still getting used to him and adjusting to the idea that he didn’t mean her harm. “Uh... I already said I don’t have an appetite at the moment, not after what just happened out there... but I could go for a drink.” She paused, thinking a moment, “When you grabbed me, did you happen to grab my bag too? I keep supplies in it, so it’d be nice to have it. But... um... maybe after I have some time to relax and calm down I might feel up to eating.”

“Hmm? Oh yeah I did grab it.” *pulls it out and is about to hand it to her when I realize that might make her nervous so I set it down gently and back up* “And I will get you a drink just explore my house as you wish and be careful.”

“Considering how big this place is compared to me, I doubt I can even make my way to the floor from here, much less ‘explore’ the house. You don’t seem to comprehend how overwhelming the size of this place is compared to me. But I could definitely go for a drink... I was on my way to refill my water bottles when the attack started.”
She got into her bag, pulling out a couple empty bottles so she could show him, “But I’m glad you got my bag. Has my survival supplies in it and my spare clothes. It’ll make things much easier, like having bottles to drink from instead of having to make do with whatever oversized item you decide to use to give me water.”

“Alright well what do you want to drink I have more than water if you wanted something else. And if you want I can get you a cracker or something for you to snack on.” *I offer trying to be nice as I wonder how I could make things for her to more easily get around my house* “And anything else you might need don’t hesitate to tell me.”

(You never specified where she was set down, so I figured it was probably on a table or counter since that’s most common, and because I figured he may be worried about accidentally stepping on her or kicking her if she was on the floor where it would be harder to spot her.)
”Like I said, after what I saw today, I don’t really have an appetite. Maybe I will later, after I have time to calm down a little and at least try to relax... As for drink, water is fine for now, I’m not really worried about having anything better.” She looked around a bit, frowning slightly, “This place is so big... I feel like I’ll probably get lost if I try making my way around by myself... I doubt I’ll be able to get around without help.”

*pouts at that but then smiles kindly* “Well don’t worry. Think of me as your personal transport around the house.” *smiles* “And I will get you that water now. Unless you would prefer me to move you somewhere more comfortable.”

“I’m fine here for now, and I’m probably going to go through my pack to make sure nothing fell out during the chaos today. Knowing I still have all my supplies will probably make me feel a bit better about this situation.” She sat down and opened her pack all the way, starting to dig through it, “It’ll kinda be a sort of reassurance. Making sure I have the knife I use to cut up food so that things won’t be too large to handle, certain other necessities... Things that will make being here less awkward for me.”

“Alright I will be back as soon as I can.” *smiles and goes to the kitchen grabbing me a cup of soda and filling a bottle lid since I wouldn’t be able to fill her bottles and I go back to her*

When he returned, she had several items from her pack laid out as she went through it, making sure she still had most of her supplies. She didn’t even notice him approaching at first, actually being slightly started when he set the cap of water down. After a slight jump, shs calmed down again and grabbed her two canteens, filling them and then taking a ling drink from one before topping it off. “Thanks for the water.” She closed the canteen and startsd returning some items to her bag, then paused as she thought a moment. “Hmm... I guess I could also get cleaned up a bit. Being on the run so much means we don’t often have time to clean up thoroughly, just rinse up as quickly as possible... but it can also wait. Not exactly urgent. Honestly, I’m still trying to figure out what to make of this situation... still makes me pretty nervous. Still worried about what to expect... I mean, I’m trying to trust... but it’s not exactly easy.”

I would even like you to choose the topic if you want to talk.” *takes a sip from my soda* “And I am sure I can make a make shift bath for you if you really want to take a bath.” *I say trying to help you out and am looking at the tool and such*

“A bath would be nice, and would probably help me relax.” She paused, thinking a moment before continuing, “As for talking... I want to know more about what to expect while I’m here. You mentioned friends, and that they would expect certain things in regards to how you treat me. How many friends, and how often do they visit? You also said you don’t usually go to those types of hunting things... so would that mean they’d want to check on you after to see how it went?”
She sighed, looking away, “I just... I want to have some idea of how much danger I might be in. I’m starting to... accept that you aren’t a huge threat, but that doesn’t mean others wouldn’t be... oh... and I want to thank you for grabbing my bag and letting me keep it. Makes me feel better, a little more in control of my situation.”

“Can you blame me for worrying about it?” She asks, hesitating a bit before she climbed onto his hand. “Not sure how well I’ll be able to get around here, but I’ll figure out where to stash it when I don’t need it.” She sighed, “Please... keep in mind this is going to be hard for me to adjust to. I understand a bit better now that you actually want to help, but this isn’t an easy situation for me.”
