Description
I decided to give my older/rarely used characters some love~! Here are the age ranges you can choose from--the children and SOME teens obviously will have parents, but the adults (or those old enough to technically be adults/live alone will be considered adults) will be on their own.Kids (with families) : Raymond
Teens (with families) : Elijah , AJ , Fender , Jaylen
Teens (on their own) : Travis , Blake , Luan , Danny 'R' Anderson , Ashton , Ade , Valra
Adults (on their own) : Elton , Zakaru , Me (goth version) , Efren , Wesley Toruske (ages 18-27)
**NOTE** NO ONE WILL HAVE THEIR POWERS OR UNUSUAL BACKGROUNDS. Travis and so on won't have powers, Raymond won't have a monster, Fender will be only human, same with Valra, Wesley will be human too, etc. But, debating on if I should let Zakaru keep his powers or not...

Elton looked back briefly. "...what do I have to gain by tricking you?" He asked, shrugging as he sat in his bed. "...run along home, you have what you wanted..." He said with a small smile. "...maybe tomorrow you can join me at breakfast..."

Kenneth was smiling a little, but then realized what he was doing. No...no he couldn't.
He looked down, then to the human, his expression a little sad. "...I'm sorry. I...I can't do that...it isn't-...I'm really sorry. But...you can't see me again." he said quietly, setting the button down gently. He looked up to the human once, before running off without another word...that the bean would hear, anyway.
"Goodbye." he said from the safety of his tunnel, disappearing into the maze within the wall that had been solely his home for a long time.

Elton blinked, surprised, about to ask why he couldn't see the boy again, but it was too late since he'd already run off. Elton sighed sadly, looking down and shaking his head slowly. "...did I do something wrong...?" He mumbled to himself, shifting to pick the button up and put back, shoulders slumped. Why had the boy run off like that? Elton hadn't scared him THAT bad, had he?

It wasn't that at all. In fact...the little guy wanted to come back. That was the thing. He...he couldn't. Not at the risk of his kind...he'd already put them at risk. But if you got too comfortable with anything, things often went sour.
...Elton wouldn't be seeing Kenneth again for two months, even if he noticed the occasional tiny item missing. But...on one stormy day...he'd find the little being, soaking wet, unconscious, on his doorstep.

What danger could he be putting his kind in, though? If Elton was the only one in the household, then there was no way that the secret would get out. What could go sour, too? Again, Elton was the only one in the household, so what could go wrong?
Elton gasped when he noticed the boy on his doorstep, scooping him up gently and rushing him inside to get on a towel, drying him off the best he could. "What happened to him?" He asked under his breath, warming up the smaller being and getting some hot chocolate started on the stove

Even as he lived alone, Kenneth knew that all humans interacted with others at some point...he'd yet to hear of one who didn't.
Kenneth...had been having a rough night. He'd went out early in the evening only to be caught by the storm. He'd barely made it back...thus where Elton had found him, freezing.

Elton sighed softly, trying to wake the boy gently. "Hey, are you okay?" He asked softly, keeping the borrower close to a heat source as he stirred the hot chocolate, looking back at the borrower with concern. This boy needed help before he got hypothermia...

Kenneth tilted his head at the sound of a voice. "...dad..." he whispered...or maybe he was just so small, it came out that way.

He tilted his head, confused with a soft frown, nudging the boy again. "Wake up, kiddo..."

Kenneth's face contorted. That...wasn't his father.
He jumped, eyes flying open, within seconds he was up and alert, damp fair, clothes, and all. "W-what? How did I...I was sure I...huh?" he asked, surprisingly...awake, for someone that had been out a moment before. He got dizzy, actually, and stumbled, kneeling. "Ow..."

Elton cringed, helping Kenneth get back down into a lying position. "Easy there...easy...you were on the doorstep...what were you doing out there, it's freezing..." He said, pulling the hot chocolate off the stove, pouring it into the smallest glass he had and getting a spoon so he could get Kenneth to drink some without burning himself

Kenneth wouldn't stay still and kept sitting back up. "Oh nooo...I can't be here again." he sighed, sniffling. He looked down, though made no move to run for it. "...I was out on a walk." he answered quietly. "I see you haven't changed much...I guess it was too much for you to just forget our little meeting months ago, huh?"

Elton shook his head. "No...why did you run off, though...? I'm no danger to you..." He said, then offered the spoonful of the sweet chocolate drink to Kenneth. "Here, this will help warm you up...you need it, you're still cold...I need to get you out of those clothes, I think I have old doll clothes in the attic somewhere..."

Kenneth shook his head. "It's not that...look, I have my own clothes...and food. Thanks, but I'll be okay." he sighed, going to stand again. "I...I'm sorry..."

Kenneth pushed his wet hair from his face, sighing. "I...look, I'm sure you aren't a bad person. Matter of fact, I really don't think that. But us borrowers? We aren't suppose to ever interact with you beans. And if this hadn't been my home for so long...if I wasn't alone here, I would have had to leave after being seen. It endangers...my entire kind. You may live alone, but I'm sure you see other beans occasionally. What if it slipped to the wrong person I was here?" he said, looking worried. "You can't tell anyone about me. Promise."

Elton tilted his head, confused. "...well...since I know of you, is there any harm in you staying out longer? Nothing will hurt you in this house...and...to be honest, I don't talk to other people that often..." He said with a blush. "...it's a force of habit...I promise, I won't tell anyone of you...just...please stay around longer, and don't run off..."

Kenneth looked bothered. Finally, he sighed. "Alright...alright. I...I won't go anywhere." he sighed, slowly sitting back down. Then sneezed.

He smiled, then offered the hot chocolate. "Here...I'll get some cream of mushroom soup started with crackers, how's that sound?"

The smaller finally just nodded. "Alright."

He smiled softly, getting the pot out and soon starting to cook the soup, getting a pack of salted crackers out

He smiled softly. "...it's nice that I finally know your name...you won't be hiding when it's just me in the house now, right?"

Kenneth gave him a sheepish look. "It's a habit, really. But I'll remember that."

He smiled softly. "Alright. Just remember that I wouldn't hurt you, and you're safe as long as it's just me."

"I'm starting to see that, I think. I apologize for sort of...freaking out on you. All my life, I've been told it was dangerous, to talk to your kind, so please understand."

He nodded slowly. "I understand. And they're right for the most part, you shouldn't trust strangers...but...you can trust me."

Kenneth was quiet for awhile, then finally nodded. "...you're right. You saved my life, honestly...I owe you at least a little faith. Trust, I mean."

He smiled, stroking Kenneth's hair gently. "...you're safe here..."

Kenneth jumped a little at the sudden contact, but quickly regretted that. He nodded, trying to appear less tense than he was. "...okay. I'm taking your word for it"

He smiled softly, trying not to show he was upset that the boy flinched, focusing on getting the soup into a bowl

Kenneth looked down, feeling a little bad. He couldn't help what his body did...that was years of learning he couldn't rid in a few minutes. He sighed, looking back to the kind human. This was so weird...having breakfast with the one he was supposed to be avoiding. Weird...but nice too.

Elton smiled softly, getting a spoon and a few crackers, dipping a cracker corner into the soup before offering it to the borrower. "Here, try it and see if you like it..."

Kenneth got to his knees, grabbing the cracker out of the mushroom soup since it was easiest to grasp. He bit the part with the soup, smiling at the taste. "Mm.'' he said happily, sitting with it and continuing to eat. It was pretty good, actually.

Elton grinned softly. "I guess you like it then, huh? That's good, it'll warm you right up..."

He smiled softly. "Good. Eat as much as you can."

Kenneth was surprised by the generous offer, nodding. "...I don't know if I'll even finish this cracker, honestly. We should have shared this."

Kenneth ate most of the rest of the cracker, sipping a little of the soup too before saying he was done.

Elton nodded, starting to eat the soup as well. "...hey, wanna tell me about yourself?"

Kenneth blinked. "...uh, I don't see why not. Tell you what?"

"Oh. Um, purple is. And...sunflowers. Their seeds are really good." he smiled. "What about you? Same questions."
