Not much is known about the woman known as Astra, only that she came into Magneto's life after forming the first incarnation of the Brotherhood of Mutants. after the desertion of both Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, Magneto needed new recruits to help rebuild his forces and make a play for the island Genosha. having only revealed her vast intellect to rival those of Moira Mactaggert and Nathaniel Essex in the field of genetics.

Having worked tirelessly through her unique teleportation powers to help Magneto expand his forces by liberating several former Genoshan slaves and jump start mutations in willing participants from the Savage Land. In secret she had developed romantic feelings for Magneto, but she was met with disappointment. scorned by this rejection, she left in the dead of night, but not without taking Magneto's DNA sample for her own purposes.

her costume is more of a close variation of her original look. i decided to let her hair down a little bit. the green scarf i thought would elevate this look.
