Katherine Pryde, or as both her parents and friends call her Kitty. Lived her mundane life as a prodigal junior high school student in Chicago, Illinois. Kitty was a well-rounded student who excelled in IT, gymnastics and ballet, making her a shoe in for MIT, an achievement that would make her Jewish parents proud. then one day when she returned from dance classes, did she discovered that her life would never be the same again when she began to walk through walls as if they weren't there.

Professor Charles Xavier approached her parents and explained it to them gently that their daughter was a mutant, and he offered to not only help her control her powers but to also tutor her to complete her studies. this was a lot for the then 13 year-old to take in when the human-mutant hostilities were at an all time high. Along the way to Westchester, Kitty studied up on what Xavier had told her about her power to become intangible and phase through sold matter, even disrupt electronic devices upon phasing. When she arrived at Westchester, she was amazed by the many vast and unique members of the Xmen. Charles had decided on starting a new class of mutant students to fill up the spaces left, a task that his colleague Moira was also working on on her end on Muir Island. Of all the mutants she met, she got along with the likes of Jean, Angel, Iceman, Colossus and Storm. But she was anxiously intimidated by Nightcrawler and even Quetzal due to their appearances and even Wolverine due to his rough attitude to her.

After being fitted with a uniform that worked with her powers, Kitty was given a chance to be tested in the newly modified Danger Room, now crafted with solid holographic simulations in thanks to the acquired Shi'ar tech that was given to them on behalf of Majestrix Lilandra. It was after her initial Danger Room trial that all of a sudden, Kitty fell unconscious. all the Xmen rushed over to see if she was ok, as Nightcrawler had some first-aid training he was needed to check on her. Instantly she awoke, and she was overwhelmed with relief and even hugged Nightcrawler despite her initial reluctance. Charles and Jean immediately noticed that the shy intelligent girl that arrived on their doorstep earlier was now acting almost like she was an older, more experienced version of herself. With a deep breath, she revealed herself to be Kate Pryde, she had taken over her younger self's body in order to change an event that would cause so much pain for all mutants 30 years from now. She had Charles look into her mind and see what started with the recently announced Mutant Registration Act...

It's been a while since my last post as i was occupied with real life. but i wanted to get back on track and continue with this project, so this is Kitty as she appeared in her first uniform, her second look is one that was modified to combine her Astonishing look with the style she sported during the X-Treme Xmen era. i might consider making a newer look later down the track.
