Pietro was the ever overprotective brother to his sister Wanda, but when Wanda awoke, enhanced by the Elder God Chthon. wreaking havok in Xavier's mansion. Pietro tried to reason with her, but Wanda brushed him aside and ignored him. It took Wolverine enough to wake Pietro up to get him to find a way to reach out to Wanda, Professor X reached out to his colleague Dr. Strange, the Earth's current Sorcerer Supreme, who in turn brought along a powerful witch named Agatha Harkness to find a solution to free Wanda from Chthon's influence.

Agatha boosted Pietro's speed so he can keep up with his Sister, and hoping to take advantage of the infamous sibling immunity effect that most siblings have, this fact was a special hint to Xavier in what he suspected about Polaris, who so happens to have powers matching Magneto's. His suspected that both the twins and Lorna were related by Max's blood. While ordering the other Xmen to help contain Wanda, he had Lorna approach from behind to bind Wanda with a special metal enchanted by both Stephen and Agatha. This metal was specific to ward off Chthon from Wanda.

When the dust settled, Stephen and Agatha decided to take her somewhere where she would not be a threat to everyone present. Hoping to help her control her access to Chaos Magic. Pietro wanted to come along, but Wanda pushed him away, wanting to do this without her brother hovering around her. After Wanda departed with Agatha to a quiet secluded location called Westview, Pietro was barred from finding her. This left him without a purpose, and he didn't want to deal with the Avengers. That's when Xavier approached him and offered him a place to stay at Westchester, pending that he stopped moping around due to what Xavier believes to be separation anxiety. He secretly had both Polaris and Wolverine keep tabs on him in exchange for helping both Logan sort out his own sordid past and Lorna learn the full truth about her father.

With his second design, i just tweaked the colour to Pietro's suit, added shades and an X symbol to show his probationary status as an Xman, something that both the Age of Apocalypse and the Fox Xmen movies had used him well in, since the MCU did 'such a fine job at killing him for dramatic effect'. At some point i will go back in and give him a new costume design later down the road.

one other thing, for my sake and the sake of certain fans. i am making Wanda and Pietro mutants as they always were before 'Rick Remender' screwed continuity up just because of Movie Rights Disputes. If you read the bio i made for Magneto, i decided to fix up the continuity errors by adjusting their origin to still match what most fans had known before the messed up changes.
