DT had a terrible accident, which is getting attacked by a demon. That demon had a very bad infective virus on his claws, and it made DT blind later...
But it's okay, since he got a special eyeglasses which can make him see the world again. For now, he just wanted to feel the nature without the glasses.
He just woke up so early, so that's why he looks sad(?) or annoyed xD
