Rainbow Starship (レインボースターシップ Reinbō Sutāshippu) is the rainbow spacecraft-based Tenki Fighter that separates into three mechas: Rainbow Shuttle, Rainbow UFO, and Rainbow Carrier — including two modes: Ship Mode and Robot Mode called Hyper Kogazer. Along with Hikouking, Pecostorm, and Captain Hurricane, they can combine into Hikouking Rainbow.

Etymology
- "Tenki" (天機 tenki, Sky Machine) is the Japanese pun for "weather" (天気 tenki).
- "Hikouger" is derived from the Japanese word "hikouki" (飛行機 hikōki, airplane).
- "Kogazer" is the portmanteau of the Japanese word "kogei" (虹霓 kōgei, rainbow) and "gazer".
