Akira Shimada (島田秋良 Shimada Akira) is the big brother of Chiaki Shimada, one of Haruya's classmates. Along with his peculiar friend Kintora (金虎 Kintora), he challenges Monokai with fighting spirit as Kamen Rider Gekimaru (仮面ライダー激丸 Kamen Raidā Gekimaru, lit. Masked Rider Fierce Circle).

Background
Returning from out-of-state, Akira is very specialized in sports and popular in Yozakura High School along with Chiaki and a bodyguard friend Kintora, for being one of the top students who scored the highest. With the popularity match currently ongoing, Akira has shown a rivalry with Natsuo Akabane and yet friendly with Haruya.

History
While in his trip, Akira found the Tiger Gomulet while being hunted down by Oboroguruma Monokai, and later protected by Kintora. He trained him to become a strong fighter like him, unlocking the Metal Tenjutsu, and overcame all who withstand him.

Magnet Tiger Spin is Gekimaru's default tiger form, accessed by using the Magnet Tiger Gomulet in the Eto Driver.

Powers & Abilities
In this form, Gekimaru is granted with electromagnetic abilities and wields the knuckle called Denjiken (電磁拳 Denjiken, lit. Electromagnetic Fist).
NS Lasers (Hyoujun Phase): This standard ability can be activated by turning the wheel of the driver to the green Hyoujun Phase side. Gekimaru shoots red and blue lasers from his shoulders.
Magnet Attraction (Kyouryoku Phase): This powered ability can be activated by turning the wheel of the driver to the red Kyouryoku Phase side. Gekimaru pulls the target or an object towards him and punches back.
Electric Repulsion (Bouei Phase): This defensive ability can be activated by turning the wheel of the driver to the yellow Bouei Phase side. Gekimaru performs a discharge energy, pushing away the targets.
Electromagnetic Field (Genki Phase): This stamina ability can be activated by turning the wheel of the driver to the white side. Gekimaru surrounds himself with electrical field, capable of reflecting back the attacks.
NS Twin (Kibin Phase): This agile ability can be activated by turning the wheel of the driver to the black side. Gekimaru splits into two versions of himself. One is red and the other is blue.

Finishers
Gekimaru pulls the handle of the Eto Driver to activate the finisher.

Gekimaru splits into two, one red and other blue, circling around the target and both fires the NS Lasers. As they getting closer to the target, both delivers the red/blue energy Rider Punch.

Gekimaru inserts the Gomulet to the Bey Golauncher, then inserting the ripcord and LET IT RIP!
Magnet Tiger! Ikuzo!
As Gekimaru pulls the ripcord, launching the Gomulet summons a large yellow tornado, followed by summoning a tiger energy spirit.

- "Bey Golauncher" is a portmanteau of "beigoma" and "launcher".
