Daebug System System is a computer virus that served as the main antagonist.
Malwurms are primarily served as robot combatants, these organic machines loyal towards the Daebug System.
Powers & Abilities
Malwurms are experienced with melee and ranged combat.
Wurm Evolution: If the Malwurm gained strong emotions from their chosen host, they sacrifices their body into Sprite Form, allowing them to possess their host and transforming their emotions into Wurm.
Myth & Figures Basis
Name
Daebug is the portmanteau of the words "daemon" and "bug". This is also the pun of "debug", meaning to identify and remove errors from the software.
The monster-type name Wurms comes from "computer worm".
The name "Malwurm" is the portmanteau of the words "malware" and "wurm".
Origin
Daebug is the representation of evil spirits, or in this case a dybbuk — a malevolent wandering spirit that enters and possesses the body of a living person until exorcized.
Wurms and Malwurms are inspired of computer worms , a standalone malware computer program that replicates itself in order to spread to other computers.
Design
While the Daebug monsters' designs are based around mythical creatures and bugs, they also have a hidden Kamen Rider form motifs somewhere in their design.
Malwurms' hidden motif are Riotroopers from Kamen Rider 555, portrayed as "Rider-like" foot soldiers.
