ORIGINAL TRACK

The track for this fight is "Reapers of Red" by Brandon Yates. It is an epic orchestral piece accompanied by gloomy music and city-wide percussion of street music. The more electronic sounding music could be nod to both characters affinity for their weapons and the more mystic spectral sounding music is a nod to their absurd supernatural abilities.

The title refers to Ruby being a Reaper with her scythe, Cresent Rose while the Red references Ruby and Red Hood’s choice of color for their Red identity.

The cover shows a shot of the Gotham City with a giant Grimm wing flapping above it with large vampire bats are flying around. Red Hood’s Red batarang is thrown but sliced in half by Cresent Rose, while Red Hood’s helmet is shown with shining eyes referencing Ruby Rose’s status as the last of the sliver-eyed warriors. If you look closely, you’ll see a symbol of Ruby and Penny Polendina’s emblems merged together close to the blade of Crescent Rose signifying Ruby and Penny’s close friendship.
