ummm...techincally since you can't use items he is banned from SSBB tournaments, and i can just figure that he probably wouldn't be banned from SSB4 tournaments, if he makes it in that is.
and Shadow is just more awesome, he can hover and use chaos spears, beat that Sonic (plus he (with his rocket shoes) can go as fast as sonic)
Silver can fly, use telekenesis, oh and fly at SUPER SONIC SPEEDS! beat that Sonic and Shadow!

I think that SEGA should have made Silver faster, or what I think is that he has to go a bit slower to save psychic energy (To use more powerful attacks), and Shadow's past is so mysterious, and he's so awesome! (Although I do like Silver better

no from the SSBB online tournaments.
reasons:
1) His final smash (which isn't allowed anyway) is very 'cheap' (IDGAF about 'cheapness' but lots of people do)
2) He can throw a punch, then start running around the screen, and the opponent can't hit/hurt him. In the end of the fight the person with the most damage loses, so thats why they had to ban him.
