Somehow, just SOMEHOW, this style reminds me of pics. I'm not saying that you stole it though! It's just that it reminds me of it, that's all.

Ha, the fandom can either make you like the pair, or hate it. There's an extreme of one or the other. I liked it just because of SA2 and shut the fandom out

Anyway, I like the pairing too [don't you love how I pretend to say it so subtely, when I OBVIOUSLY favor it a frecking bunch? ], but I sometimes I can really dislike the fandom. One of my smaller annoyances with it, is that some fanart doesn't make them look like...they fit. Some fan art really does, and some just doesn't. Then again I daresay not any of the SEGA females really "fit" Shadow's image on a romantic dynamic [making out with him or mushy-gushy pictures or something XD; ], and it's almost like, "leave it up to the fanfics" because he looks so good by himself, another presence would disrupt it unless they're standing at a distance from him in the picture.

But I rarely come across Shadow/Amy pictures I genuinely like, ones that make them "look right together," [even if I'm starting to see new art I like of them every new week] and I have to say, despite the flaws, this is one of those rarities I really like.

It's something about your design, I think. Somehow you made them look fairly complementary in image. They look surely animated, like a page out of a children's book drawn with water colors and wonky styles for the characters in the fable. Amy's the attention grabber to me. I like her quills -- they look like hair strands, but not human; you surely know she's still a hedgehog. Her expression looks grown~ Not necessarily devious or flirtatious like Rouge, Sally, or Bunnie, just mature and adult-like. Plus it reminds me of a western styled time due to her dress and those colors. What a sweet piece to look at! I like it, bottom line. I almost can't even put my finger on why I do so much, but some of might be nostalgia of children's books
