Description When the TV show, Animaniacs came out, I think everyone fell in love with Minerva Mink as did I. Instead of a typical sexy pose that everyone would imagine her to be in, I wanted to capture the bath scene but make her cuter. This model was sculpted in super sculpey and is one of a kind, and oddly enough, I own it. I don't usually get to keep a copy of anything I make. To tell you the truth, Sharpenr has the largest collection of my models

I dunno how you people sculpt stuff like this... All my stuff has pores and bumps and holes and fuzzies in it... This is so smooth as if it were molded from a cast. ;_; Jealous!

Don't be jealous. What materials are you using? Most of the sculpts you see on my pages are casts from a mold, but they all start out as clay, then fron clay to wax, and then from wax to resin. I can explain later

I use modeling clay, mostly Sculpy (though I've used many types) and never have very good results. I've also tried my hand at 3D modeling, which has proven to be very difficult and confusing (the lingo is difficult for me to understand). I have some ZBrush DVDs that I have to sit down and watch, but I haven't had the time. I've managed to get through part of one, but it was confusing and I had to watch some parts multiple times. So, naturally, I envy anyone who can sculpt, either in 3D or with clay

Whoa... it's all shiny and smooth - simply beautiful~! What's super sculpy? Is it easy to use and how expensive is it? I love the results you got here - looks like you coated it with glaze, which makes it seem fit to use as a bathroom knick-knack~ ^^

Splendid Job! Im happy you even were able to hold on to a treasure such as this, Im sure it makes it that much more special to you...and as far as capturing the bath scene but creating her cuter, I dont think anyone else could have done a better job! Well done my friend

She stands atalmost 4 and half inches not including the base, and it was made in the days of super sculpey.I hardly use the stuff anymore. Hey, are you going to the San Diego Comic Con?

As for SDCC? - As of right now, no. Mostly because I'm saving up for DragonCon. i'd 'like' to go because I've never been to it - but it's about finanaces more than anything

I love it! It has a real retro feel to it for me for some reason. Maybe it's because of how you've emphasized a more innocent cuteness about her instead of a slinky, sexier pose. Love the details on the painted finger and toe nails as well.

Thank you very much, I'm glad you like it so well. I agree that you don't have to make a character look like a skank. Sometimes the emphasis to make them look cute and innocent with a hint of naughtyness can make a sculpt or a painting very interesting
