I thought so too. I think Gos' annoyed expression goes very well with Drake's loving one and creates a kind of intimacy because we know their characters. Just Drake enjoying being a dad.

That's because she's thinking about how she can brush her hair by herself. She doesn't need her stinking dad. Drake, however, wants to have as many moments like this as he can before his baby girl gets too grown.

I feel Gosalyn wouldn't do that because she actually had a strong desire to be loved for who she was. Not many can or would put up with her spirited ways. Her grandfather could, and Drake soon fell in love with her and wanted to be there for her. Gosalyn appreciates it so much. To her he truly is her dad... even if he can sometimes be lame and do too much mushy stuff.
