Bonkers - Bonkers De Bobcat and Lucky PiquelEven toon cops need their days off. After a nice and fun time at the beach, Bonkers gets pooped and needs a little cat nap.
Lucky doesn't seem to mind too much.
just got done organizing the movies, and took a break again. This time I wanted to experiment with Piquel's profile, and see how his weight would look on him, laying down.

BTW, I like this one a lot, and love that you're working on different styles, and specifically overweight characters. Plus, Bonkers and Lucky were just plain cool!

Maaaaybeeeee. What, am I not being subtle enough? LOL Although, I've been trying to do it more innocent and under the radar...For now. Yeah, i love the pairing. But I also don't like cheating. In my head canon, something would have to happen for it to be two ways. (which I do have a few ideas.) But, until Lucky doesn't have his wife, it's one-sided from Bonkers.
Buuut, this picture was just suppose to be "take it as you will" one. It's just as cut in any sense. Buddies or otherwise.
Thank you! Actually, I recently noticed many characters I like tend to be overweight, scrawny with a bit of a pudge belly, and then thin with large hips. I tend to draw the last one the most, like with female characters. And characters like Doofenshmirtz and Megavolt fit the lanky with pudge type. So I figured, for my portfolio, I'll play around more. See what I can actually do.
Plus, I may or may not have a crush on Lucky and am just busy fangirling.

Hahaha, gotcha! And, yeah, that makes sense that if, then it would be one-sided... I could also totally see Bonkers falling for Lucky in a romantic sort of way, since he was totally nuts about him in the show.

Tbat's actually really neat, heee! It's boring to stick with one style/physique all the time. I seriously need to get more overweight or just stalky characters into my gallery, but I'm not too comfortable in this area, artistically.
Fies' design was actually a huge leap into the unknown for me - but also one of my absolute fave OC designs (out of my own characters).

Only problem is, due to computer-sharing and hardware hookup difficulties, I probably won't have the freedom to do so until I get back to school in the fall (well, the Blu-Ray player has YouTube streaming capabilities, but the selection of videos available there is pretty arbitrary, so...I guess I'll try checking that out when I get a chance 
I still can't believe Disney hasn't released anything Bonkers since the age of VHS. Even Goof Troop got three episodes on a DVD, as pitiful an offering as that is.

I'm surprised too, frankly. On both accounts. Then again, they're also sitting on Darkwing Duck episodes too. I'm sure if they released them, people would buy them. Nostalgia sells! I wish they would, because I'd like to watch the episodes in a high resolution.

I know, right? I was sure Disney'd spring for a release of the final Darkwing Duck DVD set when the comic proved to be a smash hit, but still no sign of volume 3.
