Naaaah, but I DO know how to use a translator. No, my friend is the one that's Russian-- which is why i personalized the card with info I found out about Russian New Years Traditions. Like how they have Ded Moroz instead of Santa, and that children dress up in animal costumes and stuff. Like a mix of Christmas and Halloween. It sounds fun!

Oh I see. I think I know her from the Russian WOY fangroup...) Yes, true, Christmas is more like clearly religious holiday here... besides most of Russians are Orthodox, so the Xmas is celebrated on 7th January anyway... And New Year Eve is much more fun and welcomed here.)
