Batman - The PenguinToday I read that Al Capone used to send flowers and help out innocent by standards that got hurt in the crossfires-- and I felt inspired. I always like the idea of penguin being a gentleman, and that-- no offense, it's just business. Murdering someone who had nothing to do with a deal then hurting Cobblepot-- and he then needs to pay his respects. I also like him having a rule that no kids are allowed to get hurt-- which then makes him have an extra hate for Batman for adding kids to the crime fighting equation.ย

The way I prefer him-- though, pervert Penguin does has his charms as well. But we see THAT version all the time these days. Classic Gangster Penguin, I have a mighty need! But yes, thank you. i'm glad you liked it.ย

You never quite know what to expect from me. You know how drawing moods hit. LOL. But thank you! I had this image in my head and I just had to draw it out. And I think the limited colors really helps everything pop, as well as help set the mood. Poor Ozzy.

Well, my mom started yesterday watching GOTHAM, the serie, and when she told me : Penguin appears as young...
I totally told her to show me. And i liked how they portrayed him... at least how he looks like.
Not so happy with the others, though i dont care much xD
And yes! That trick was used in the Killing Joke, Tim burtons favorite Batman Comic.... At least in the special version iยดve got.
Using just red to point out special details, everything else has almost no colors.

Oh, you mean in the flashback scenes? Yeah, I liked that in the Killing Joke, as well. Honestly, reminded me of Six Sense-- the movie. Where all the important bits were red in color. Always a neat trick.
EH, i kinda can't stand the fact they made young Penguin a pretty boy. Mostly because in the comics young penguin has always been chubby, and I feel overweight and interesting characters need more representation in the media. BUT! I can see why people like him.

Yeah... first thing i asked my mom was.... Is he deformed? Raised in the shadows? What about his fingers?
But well, the face... is neat, for a new kind of version, its still the penguin without having to say he is.
Yeah i know... I feel the same when they make a thin version of Doctor Octopus...ย
Still its kinda difficult to find a guy with such a face.... My mom says he is so weird looking, and doesnt even wear make up to add anything.... ย And i think he is cute xDDD Oh my... ย I wonder if I ever have a partner... xDD
