Phineas and Ferb = Doofenshmirtz and PhineasWork in progress stuff. Only posting because I'm not sure if I'll finish it tonight. (Though I do plan on finishing it.)
Hard poses were hard, maaan. Doof's was the worst, though.
EDIT:
Aaand done. Just woke up again, an hour ago, just so I can finish this. guess it's time to start my livestream soon. I'll do that in a minute. But here you go, guys, have so homoerotic looking outfits that amuse me beyond belief. ~

Heh.Thank you. I'm glad you like it! Everyone needs to do a jam session, eventually.
I'm trying to think about WHAT this two man band would be. You can't make it a cool name like "Doof n Puss". And "grown man with child" would just be awkward.

Awesome job!!! haha those gays โฅ I'd so listen to this band and hang their posters on my shower walls XDDD

You have to have it protected, because I think the mist from the shower would either wear out the adhesives, or it would ruin the poster. LOL But thank you, it's quite a compliment!

Thank you! Took a bit to figure out what I wanted with the lighting, but I eventually found something pleasant.

I love that outfit Phineas is wearing! He was really rocking in it both in the songs "Give me a grade" and "Kick it up a noch". He didnยดt have the jacket in "Kick it up a noch" though...
And Doof... well, when I first saw him in that outfit I was like. Seriously, it freaked me out. BIG TIME. I probably had the exact same face as Perry at that moment. This makes me feel a bit better about it.
And yeah, these two should interact more.

I was originally going to lean more towards his "Kick It UP a Notch" outfit...but I thought that might be too close to Doof's outfit here, since he also has a red shirt. The jacket really helps separate them some, I think.
LOL. to be fair...Doof DID just rip his clothes off in front of the audience and started pelvic thrusting. I can see how that would unnerve some. XD
But I thank you for the compliment, and am honored I made the outfit a bit more bearable. LOL.

Rocker positions are just hard! I'd suggest having his other elbow sticking out towards the back - to imply that his right hand is strumming some rifts. Other than that, I cannot wait to see this one done.
I LOVE the musical aspect of Phineas & Ferb (the music is just good - even in German - and it's an aspect you just don't see in modern cartoons {one is lucky if they get a really good theme song, anymore!}), so I'm thrilled to see you touching on that - and I love your P&F art - you've really got the style, humour and just plain whimsical fun of the series down.

Lol. I was trying to make Doof look like he was about to do one huge stroke. Though, I think I'll see if I can do that. I was never comfortable with Doof's back arm.
I think the music is great for many reasons. For one, the creators really do a wonderful job introducing kids (heck, even adults) to all different genres of music. From broadway style numbers and pop, to rock and country. And all things inbetween. Then the lyrics itself have been witty and humorous, to just plain random (but equally hilarious). Like I swear their "Dance Baby" song had to be a fun jab at people like Devo (or B-52...Heck, some of the 80's in general), where they threw out phrases like "Never eat a cactus, if you're out of practice". [link]
And on a more parental level...though I myself am not a parent, it's nice to expose children to songs that aren't just full of sex and swear words, like a lot of the stuff in the states today. There are just soooome phrases that should NOT be sung out of a child's mouth.
And thank you! I don't want to brag, or something of the like, but I do feel like I GET where the creators are coming from with this show. We live on the same planet, maybe even neighborhood, when it comes to jokes. There have been times when I've just said to myself "You know what would be funny? If THIS happened in the show." or I'd draw something I thought was amusing- Then POOF, it would happen. It's been kind of a fun game of trying to "guess" what will happen next. Though, they certainly surprised me with their latest joke in one of the newest episodes. But in a good way! It's nice to see them go back to their roots for shows like Rocko's Modern Life, where they got a ton of stuff past the censors. I think it shows how there can be adult styled humor, and yet still be safe for the kids.

Oh, I see! And, yeah, I can understand that. I haven't tried Doof, partially because whilst he LOOKS really simply drawn, his design is so specific/stylised. I'm paranoid that if I get one thing off, it won't look like him. Aside from that, I also haven't had many ideas.
I really can't add anything to your points about the music, because I fully agree with you! Exactly how I feel. I love the variety of genres, too.
That is really cool - most of what you've drawn, and especially the jokes, really do strike me as stuff I'd expect to see on the show. The show has sometimes surprised me - particually regarding awkward moments between Doof and Perry.

MY newest webcam. When Perry went down on Doof. LOL

Shychick In reply to DarkwingSnark [2012-03-10 03:18:19 +0000 UTC]
Oh, yeah! LOL. That was one of my fave parts! It does give one pause, doesn't it? "IS HE- Ohhh, he's wearing a towel; Perry's just doing his legs!" But when he strips later, his legs were hairy again. And that armpit hair, YEESH! And now my mind's wandering into forbidden territory again... well, it does make one wonder where else-
My absolute favorite part, though, was when Linda walks into the appartment and sees the craziness. And Carl's like "It's not what it looks like!" Like she walked into some pervert's furry orgy/party! (At least that's how I took it.) How old is Carl, anyway?!
๐: 0 โฉ: 1
DarkwingSnark In reply to Shychick [2012-03-10 03:26:13 +0000 UTC]
That's EXACTLY what I thought kinda thought she walked in on...Or at least, what CARL thought she thought. LOL i mean...there is NO other explanation for that.
And I got the impression Carl was older than Vanessa/Candace, but still a young adult. College age. so he's somewhere between 18 and 22 I think. 22 is reeeally stretching it, though.

They did Doof in a speedo. That was fun.
And...I would no disapprove of Doof in a thong.

So do I. I just think their personalities could create a lot of funny jokes. And...the fangirl in me can't help but want to see more positive influences in his life. Even if watching Doof get beat up constantly is hilarious to me....But the thought of PERRY freaking out constantly seems to just win more attention, more. XD
