Penguins of Madagascar - Rico and Kowalski
So there is a meme on tumblr where you take a screenshot and then you try drawing them in your own style. I asked to choose one of her favorite moments...And she chose a VERY funny one from "Mr. Tux".
God, my Rico turned out so...WELL, i'm not gonna say he looks like he was hit in the face with a shovel...But I'll imply it. Maybe he's so upset with Kowalski he decided to go super derp. YOU decide! Also, my Kowalski looks more like a penis than ACTUAL Kowalski. WELL NOW.
That said...This WAS fun and I recommend you guys give it a try!

Thaaank you. THOUGH...looking at the two now, I think i made Kowalski more inquisitive "Um...WHY are you glaring at the fact I just spit in your face"?" more than alarmed/worried. Which kinda makes it funnier, though not correct. It's funny, it started with me going "HEEEY! A Rico i actually like! Too bad my Kowalski sucks, though." to "Heeeey, a kowalski I REALLY like! ...And then a fucked up Rico. I can't have both, it seems."

Rico in your style is more "pissed off" than the one from the show xD In my eyes hes face looks a little more older and a little more fat than it really is :> And... What ? Why did you said that your Kowalski looks more like a penis? I think that his face looks better here than the screen shot, because the look of his face is more expressive. Mainly because of the beak shape. Eyes are a little bigger too and that helps too in showing his feelings right now

Yeah, I decided to exaggerate the expressions some. While their expressions came through well enough in the show...I'm just used to pushing it more. That's just more from my love of hand drawn animation over CGI, so i tend to leave model more to get that. So I'm glad you like it!
And yes...yes I did say my Kowalski looks more like a penis. No mistranslation THERE. XD Kowalski IS really phallic, let's be honest here. I know they were going for "egg head" with his shape...But, yeah...He looks like a dick. HOLLA!

Well it was a success in my opinion with "pushing " their expressions. I never tried to draw them in a different way than they look. always tried to draw them exactly how they look.
I understand what do you mean with the egg head and the shape of his whole body. He is tall and the most slim from all 4 penguins. But not so extremely to call him a dick

I pretty much treat Skilene porn like lesbian porn. Mostly because...I don't know why, but giving the penguins throbbing members bothers me. I can look at art of it, but I just can't get myself to do it. Penguins have cloacae, man, not little sausages. And I like to think Skipper knows his way around pleasing a lady with his tongue.
