Did you know if you mix a black dog with a white dog you still get a dog? Or if you mix a Labrador with a German Shepherd you still get a DOG?What do you think happens when you mix a black human with a white? OMG DO WE GET A HUMAN?! Um yea we still get a human. I'm sorry but I have to voice my opinion, don't like it STOP reading and GO AWAY. If you are fine with zis, keep readin'.
I live in a family that is against mixing races, I have a dad, cousin, and uncle that is extremely racist, I scowl harshly on them both when they start speaking about the races. Let's get this straight...I DO NOT CARE! Black, Indian, Mexican, Cubian, White, Whatever race it may be..THEY ARE ALL FUCKING HUMAN! What do you think you see when you dissect a white human and a black human? Hmm let's see, they both still have a heart, lungs, all those goody organs and among other things. Don't ALL humans have those? So what's the difference? Nothing but the color, that's it. You don't get rabid mutated bunnies if you mix; nope none at all.
Do you realize every single one of you are different in each way? No it's not because of skin color or anything. It's because of your personality, your persona and your ideal person, NOT your color. So let me answer a few slurs for ya.
1. They aren't like us. Why do you say that? They eat, sleep, walk on two legs, talk like us and act just like us. Is that not what a HUMAN is? Get your facts straight, they are still human.
2. They need to go back to where they come from! WHOA HOLD UP! Let's go back to a history lesson shall we?
a. Who brought the blacks over? WHITES
b. Why? Slavery
c. So why can't they be classified as human? Gee jolly that's what I'm tryin' to figure out! They are human, they aren't dogs, they don't bark. They talk and act just like a human. There is NO DIFFERENCE.
So if whites didn't want blacks here in the first place then by damn they should have never brought them over here. Whites are just mad (some) because blacks now have just as much rights as WE DO! They FUCKING deserve it!
THIS IS THE 21ST CENTURY, GROW THE FUCK UP!

I'm very much against racists, yes, if a people of different skin colour were to shed their skin, they are practically the same...if you put religion, nationality and background away, they're still human.
people need to stop judging others over such petty matters. this IS the 21st century - grow a brain cell or two, people.

I'm ashamed to say I sometimes feel not as comforable with dark-skinned people as white or yellow-skinned. I have no idea why, I really don't. But the first 7 years of my life was spent living in an all-Chinese enviroment, and all the blacks I saw were cartoons or on TV. And I guess I just wasn't as used to seeing dark people, because the problem is almost gone now...TOOK IT LONG ENOUGH, IT'S BEEN FIVE YEARS.
That said, I think racism is one of the most stupid human mentalities in the history of stupid human mentalities. It's right up there with sex, hair and TV show relationship support intolerance. You were so right to post this. Much kudos!

lol that's understandable if you've never been around them. I haven't been around them that much in my younger years, but I've become accustomed and old enough to know what's right and what's wrong. Not to mention no matter what color you are there's always faultries in each human being.
There's bad blacks, there's bad whites. But there's also good blacks and good whites. It's a balance, but it doesn't make it right for someone to sterotype.

Powerful words there. It makes you think of the KKK or whatever they fuck they call themselves, they're all pussies and they want to be part of a little club that makes no point whatsoever. They fear what they can't see. What they can't see is the fact that we are different but the same. And, from what I've heard, there are no such things as different races, instead, people with lighter skin come from colder countries, while darker skinned people come from hotter ones. It explains why everybody in Africa are black, the country is hot. But, look at Iceland or something and you see that everybody is Albino-ish. That's my rant.

The overall stance that many racist folks have makes me speculate. If we weren't the only intelligent species on this planet, you could bet your sweet ass there's be specists. And yet, I still think people would find the time to be racist as well.
Sometimes I wonder what it is that goes wrong in the human brain to breed racism. I know that a lot of the time it's something taught by family or society, but it had to have come from somewhere - where did whites get the impression that we are the be-all and end-all? It's like some people have a built-in superiority complex.
Last I checked, we weren't that fantastic. We still bleed when needles prick us, and if I push someone off a building they're still gonna go splat when they hit the pavement.
All people are the same, regardless of colour. Heck, some of us are even spotty! (like me, many freckles :3 )

Dang, I love you, Rain. I had been planning a journal like this for so long but I was so afraid I'd get whacked for it. I'm glad you aren't a wimp like me.
I'm Asian, and though I do get discriminated a little bit, I'm slowly getting used to that (though I should probably take a step to stop it)... but that doesn't mean other people still don't suffer from racism. :\ I'm not exactly sure what it's like in the US, but over here racism is still pretty strong... we all breathe the same air, we all have emotions, we all feel pain. What difference does skin colour make?
People can go on and on about not judging a book by its cover, but does everyone really take that into perspective and realise that that applies to humans, too?
We all live on this Earth, and complain about wanting world peace and no wars... but with this happening, 'wars', even though they might not involve guns or other artillery, will always go on. And all wars have suffering.

You speak the truth. I'm black and hile hurtful I think the "Why don't you go back to where you came from" question is somewhat funny. I don't think some whites realize that we aren't Africans anymore. It's kind of sad that I know nothing about my roots.
